The meeting with the Blossoms didn't go as planned, Cheryl admitted that her parents weren't really trying to help Polly out.
Instead they're trying to take the baby away, and just leave Polly behind.When Polly heard this she started freaking out because now it meant she didn't have anywhere to go.
Luckily Veronica offered her place to Polly, which Polly was grateful for, as well as Betty.

The next day in school the gang were in the student lounge;Even Cheryl was there.
"Polly's convinced herself that no one wants her baby."Betty spoke
"Beside, of course , the child-snatching Blossom monsters."Both Brandon and Cheryl looked at Kevin."No offense, Cheryl."
"None taken."She responded with a glare.
"So your mom and dad want Polly but not the baby."Jughead spoke
"And the Blossoms want the baby and not Polly.That's a true Gordian knot."Brandon said as he looked down at his phone.
"It's an impossible situation."Betty said
"Betty, come on.An impossible situation is being invited to both the Vanity Flair Oscar party and Elton John's Oscar party on the same night."Kevin then placed a hand on Veronica's shoulder. "Which happened to me one year, I know."
Kevin just smiled, as he was happy hearing that
"This is merely an annoying situation.But luckily, I've been percolating on an idea, hellishly simple in its conception"Veronica was about to speak again but got interrupted by Karla as she was walking in.
"Here's a fun idea, host a baby shower."Karla smiled, she walked up to Brandon and threw her purse at him.He caught it and smiled, Veronica just rolled her eyes.
"Count me in."Cheryl smiled happily.
"Karla is right."Brandon got up."You want Polly to feel loved and supported, right?"Brandon asked as he looked at Betty
"Yeah , but ideally by her own parents."Betty shrugged.
"Okay, so baby steps, girl.Get Polly and your parents in the same room in a public setting where they can't fight, and, Voila , let the healing begin."
"Am I expected to come to this thing?"Jughead asked
"I'll totally go."Brandon smiled
"Great.And Jughead, Of course!You're Betty's boyfriends..."Veronica said as as she took a sip of her coffee.Betty and Jughead shared a look.
"Oh my god, you guys, relax.It's just a word that starts with the letter B."Betty and Jughead smiled at each other
