Sticky Notes ― Park Chanyeol

She only watched as Chanyeol had stood still in front of the notebooks section. His hands in the pocket of his blazer and his right foot tapping lightly to the music being played throughout the store, his eyes wandered from the markers hung on top to the sticky notes on the middle to the selves of colourful notebooks in the bottom.

After a few minutes of pondering, Chanyeol finally grabbed a stack of tight-wrapped sticky notes and proceeded to the counter. She followed him and stood next to him as the cashier scanned his sole item, "You're getting just that?"

"I was running out of them," Chanyeol turned to look at her and smiled before turning to pay the showed amount. "Sounds like you make a lot of notes while studying," she concluded, not knowing the only reason he even started to like the colourful notes was because of her.

"Not really, I just like the colours and write random stuff and just stick them wherever," Chanyeol replied as he shoved the paid notes into his bag along with the change and receipt.

"Speaking of that, do you want to write random things and paste them randomly around?" he enquired, his eyes looking into hers and the excitement evident in his gaze.

"That sounds fun, it feels like you could make someone's day with random notes like that," she giggled at the thought. It warms her heart to know she could create some piece of happiness for others and maybe heal herself in the process.

Chanyeol took her hand in his and lightly dragged her out the store and to wherever his feet would take him. He was glad that she couldn't really see his face as his steps were bigger than hers making her walk just slightly behind him. Or else the embarrassment from her seeing the growing blush on his face could make him blurted out a confession mindlessly.

She, on the other hand, had a growing smile. The warmth of his hand felt so comforting and for a moment, it felt like she found a safe haven. The yearning for comfort and warmth was there, in front of her. She whispered under her breath,

This warmth is soothing...

So, I have another account markable- which is for my projects and I currently have a project open for all, Stars — a Weekly Collaboration project and it would be lovely to see more people participating or spreading out the word! This a light project and meant to be fun and enjoyable so do check it out!
