Chanyeol had been walking back and forth in the hallway for minutes now, the sticky note he held carefully in his hand was the centre of his focus.

"Is this a good idea..." he sighed, dropping his backpack to the ground and leaned against the wall.

"She doesn't know that her friend knows who she is. This might just end up being creepy..." he pursed his lips, holding in his frustration.

"Sehun might just be right, I'm head over heels, stupid and a coward," Chanyeol held the sticky note to his eye level and stared at it before he heard a voice calling out his name.

"Chanyeol?"

He snapped towards the direction of the voice and it was her, looking at him with a pure wondering expression.

Quickly shoving the note into the pocket of his blazer, he greeted her back with his tone a bit higher than usual, pretty much clearly showing his anxiousness, "Oh, hi!"

"What are you doing in front of my class? Do you always come this early?" she questioned innocently, obvious that she didn't notice at all the light blue coloured note that had been the same as the replies to her notes being in Chanyeol's hand.

"I was just..." he paused, trying to conjure up a reason not too weird and not end up saying that he was early to leave a note at her desk.

After a few moments of silence and having to look at her expectant expression, Chanyeol finally managed to say something, "Waiting for my friend, he told me to come early but I guess he didn't keep his word..."

He let out an awkward, crocked laugh and she only laughed at his flustered expression.

"You don't have to feel awkward around me. It just makes me feel bad, as if I made you feel uncomfortable or something," she softly spoke, a small hint of sadness in her tone. She was trying to keep her emotions suppressed as hard as she could, but he could still read through her.

"Hey, I'm your friend, I'll never think of you like that, I just have a lot of things running through my mind, that's all," he replied, a wide sincere smile carved on his face as he lowered his head to her level.

"I've never had any of my friends assured that they're my friend. Hearing that coming from you makes me feel happy," she burst out a shy smile, "It sounded like pure sincerity."
