Dropping to his knees, Yza was sweating from head to toe, with a surprised and confused expression on his face. He was gasping for air.
"Yza... you're finally back..." Ayaza looked down at him, looking at his friend.
"Ayaza..."
Rukia looked at the two silently. Too silently. Yza turned around to look at Rukia.
"Where... am I?" He looked at Ayaza.
"You were Яeversed..." Ayaza replied to Yza, who stood up and looked at his cards.
"Right... And why is Rukia here?" Yza asked Ayaza, pointing behind himself.
"Oh right.." Ayaza grit his teeth and looked at her. She didn't say a word. "Uhh.. I'm not sure."
"Is she... Яeversed still?"
"Yes."
"It won't matter." Rukia said coldly. Shadows were cast over her eyes, and she wasn't smiling, nor was she frowning.
"How so?" Yza and Ayaza said together.
"Because..." Rukia took a step forward, and Yza took a step back. Ayato dropped behind Ayaza.
"We have to leave. Now." Ayato whispered to Ayaza.
"Why?!"
"We need to let this occur." Ayato grabbed Ayaza from behind, and his FiCa.
"Grrr.." Ayaza looked at Yza, who was stunned looking at Rukia. Ayato and Ayaza left silently.
"Come with me, please." Rukia asked him.
"You're Яeversed... Aren't you?"
"Yeah. I am." Rukia nodded sadly.
"..." Yza looked behind him. He collected his cards and FiCa, before looking back at Rukia. "Where... where are we going?"
"To the place where we first reunited."

(Opening here)

A large, bluish-green building over-arched Ryuzaki, Maverick, Inu and Shika. Coated in rust and broken windows, with stringy and dusty cobwebs filling the corner, was the local dim and abandoned warehouse in their area. Blue stained glass shards were on the gravel floor, and Ryuzaki looked up.
"So, this is where Payic retreated."
"Maybe we can find the rest of them..." Maverick nodded.
"Who do you mean by "rest"?" Ryuzaki asked.
"The other Яeverse members."
"I doubt it... not even an idiot like Inu would make their hideout so obvious."
"Hey, I'm not that dumb... you should've used Shika. He's a bit..." Inu replied.
"I have brains! Spike Brothers combos are more thinking then you think!" Shika retaliated.
"Oh yeah, because getting 3 heals is so hard..." Inu mumbled.
"Knock it off. Let's enter and follow the tracker." Ryuzaki commanded with a steely glare. Both boys quieted.
"Well, I can't stay around for much longer..." Shika said bitterly. "The other guys need my help."
"For what?"
"Aya was confirmed dead in the hospital."

Ryu clicked his knuckles.
"It was short lived being you guys. I gotta help some old friends out." Ryu looked at Trio and Tari.
"Nah, it was fun. Come back soon, okay!" Trio grinned.
"Make sure to call us!" Tari nodded happily.
"I'll come back to Kyoto, don't worry." Ryu checked his phone. "The train is gonna leave soon, crap! See ya!" He started running away.
"See you!" The two waved goodbye.

Ayaza looked afar from Aya's hospital room, and seeing her family members grieve. A painful scrunch resounded in his heart, and he grit his teeth.
"Damn it Ayato..." He turned his head away and walked down the corridor in frustration.

Walking down the open, dusty space of the warehouse, Ryuzaki and Maverick were looking around. Inu was waiting outside.
"Look, Ryuzaki!"
"Huh-?"
Ryuzaki stopped as he recognised Payic's face. This time, she held a stoic expression.
"PAYIC!" Ryuzaki put away his phone and ran at her, his face filled with worry.
"Oh... it's you. Stop being such a nuisance."
"I challenge you to a Cardfight! You owe me one after quitting on me!"
Payic sighed, her arms crossed. "Fine." She took out her FiCa, with an aura of evil intentions radiating off her. Both players started to set up; shuffling their decks and drawing five cards.
"Stand up," Ryuzaki and Payic put their fingers on their Starting Vanguard. "The Vanguard!" They flipped the cards over.
"Chrono Dran Z!" Ryuzaki shouted, the vanguard circle expanding red.
"Goddess of Headwater, Nakisawame." Payic said, the vanguard circle expanding pale lavender.

Yza followed Rukia to their school.
"So, why did we come here?" Yza asked her.
"Everything will be clear soon." Rukia walked around back, Yza sweating with anticipation. Taking out a small card, she put it against a scanner. It opened up the wall in the back of the school, revealing a purple room.
"When did the school have this?" He looked surprised by this revelation. Rukia stepped inside.
"Come here." Rukia pointed inside.
"What even is this?" Yza took a cautious step inside the room.
"An elevator." Rukia clicked a button. The wall closed, and the elevator started to go down. A soft rumble shook the elevator, and after five minutes, Rukia and Yza finally reached their destination. The Яeverse Base.
