Yza ran downstairs hurridly, it was break and he had some free time to play vanguard with others. He found himself in the schools library, people playing vanguard. A middle lengthed brown haired boy, with a green piece of fabric tied around his head. He wore black shoes and his uniform. Of course, this wasn't what he normally wore. Instead on the weekends, he wore a green vest, camo shorts and black boots. He was Ryu Jomko. "Ready for the final attack?" He asked his opponent, which was Wyvon. "Ready as I'll ever be." He laughed. "Alright, my Dual-flare attacks your vanguard with a boost from Cat Butler! (14000)" He commanded. "No guard, damage check!" Wyvon said. "(Vampire Princess of Night Fog, Nightrose) No trigger there." "Now my vanguard attacks with a boost from Cat Butler!! Go, Legion attack!!! (20000 > 25000) Skill active, since I have 4 or more rested units, an extra critical! (1★ > 2★)" Ryu shouted. "Perfect Guard!" Wyvon responded. "Skill of Dual-flare, standing him back up with 5000 more power! (9000 > 14000)" Ryu said. "Twin drive! First (Red Lightning) a critical! All effects to vanguard. (20000 > 25000) (1★ > 2★) Second! (Twin Blader) No trigger there. Now, Cat Butler's skill! Retiring him, and STANDING MY VANGUARD!!" "W-what?!" Wyvon stammered. "Dual-flare, attacks!! (14000)" Ryu shouted. "Guard with Colombard! (11000 > 16000)" Wyvon said. "Now, vanguard, attack!! (25000) Skill activated!! Now, since I have more then 4 rested units, an extra critical!! (2★ > 3★) Go ahead and try to guard!!" Ryu smirked. "Guard with Rough Seas, Graham and Good Luck (11000 > 31000), pull 2 triggers and its game over." Wyvon said. "I'll take that challenge! Twin drive! First! (Minimum Raizer) Critical! All effects to vanguard! (25000 > 30000) (3★ > 4★) and second! (Red Lightning) Critical trigger!! All effects to vanguard, awesome overkill of 5 damage and take it!! (30000 > 35000) (4★ > 5★)" Ryu shouted. "Damage... (Freddy the Ghostie, Dragon Undead, Bone Dragon, Underling Pirate Skeleton, Gorgeous Shade) A draw trigger. Power to vanguard, (11000 > 16000) and draw. Last damage check... (Death Fog Knight of Tainted Sword) Nothing. You win." Wyvon smiled. Ryu smirked. "I defeated you and your small fry pirates!! Take that!!" He laughed, proud of himself. Wyvon sweatdropped at the sight. "What?" "Your acting an absolute idiot, Jomko." Wyvon said. "Whatever!" Ryu laughed it off. Yza looked at Ryu. "A new person I never fought before. Looks like I'm gonna fight him!" He thought.
"Hey you!" Yza chirped. "What's up Blade?" Wyvon grinned. "You know this geiser?" Ryu asked. "Names Yza Blade. I challenge you to a cardfight, Ryu!" Yza stared intensly. "How do you know my name?" Ryu asked. "We're in alot of the same classes together." Yza replied. "Yza... Yza... Yza... Scar boy, aren't you?" Ryu laughed. "Scar boy? Really..." Yza sweatdropped. "Eh," Ryu mumbled. "You wanted a game?" He was rocking back and forth on his black chair. "Yes. Of vanguard!" Yza exclaimed. Ryu stopped rocking and smirked. "Lets see your deck first," He smiled innocently. "Alright then." Yza accpeted, handing over his deck. Ryu grabbed it out of his hands and looked through the cards. "So the rumours were true. Stardust Knight of the Star Gate. And their leader..." Ryu thought as he took a good look at Shooting Star Dragon, "Is the Shooting Star Dragon. Limit Break 4, counterblast 2 and discard a grade 3 to shuffle back 3 cards from the drop zone back into the deck, then reveal the top 3 and call any grade 1 and greater cards, and place any grade 0 and lower into the drop zone. Interesting card." Ryu thought. "Lets play, scar boy."
