Charlotte pov

"Wake up"

"Wake up"

"Wake up.

"WAKE UP"

I bolted up with a sharp gasp but with a hunger that I needed to give in too. I knew what I wanted. I needed, no, I wanted blood. My tongue slightly grazed the tips of the fangs.

"Charlotte. Charlotte honey"

My eyes snapped to my mother. I could feel the blood going around her body. I could hear her heart beat. So tempting but no. I will not kill my own mother.

"Please honey, drink"

My mother handed me a water bottle but full of blood. I quickly grabbed the bottle and drank. The cool liquid ran down my throat, satisfying the thirst for a brief moment but the thirst wanted more. It wanted fresh blood.

"I have too go" I said, getting up.

"What? No honey. We can help you. Teach you"she cried out.

"It wants more. I could hurt you, dad, Jace, everyone"i said. It hurt me to leave but I didn't want to risk losing control and killing someone that I care about. I think this is for the best. My mother hugged me to which I froze at. The blood. It's so tempting. My fangs wanted to pierce her skin and drain her dry. I was so close before I broke the hug.

"Sorry. This is for the best"

"Charlotte" I hear her cry as I walked out from the hospital room. Tears stung my eyes from hearing her cry my name. My thirst wanting more because I can smell the blood around me. So much blood. My finger nails dug into my palms as I bit my lip. I can't kill innocents. I successfully got out of the hospital to see it's night. I am a hybrid now. Can i still walk in day light? I guess I will find out tomorrow.

I walked down an abandon alley. It was then I realised that I shouldn't have. 

"Look at what we have here boys"said the yellow teeth man. He took a swing at his alcohol bottle.

I turned around to walk away but a pair of arms wrapped themself around me. His breath reeked of alcohol. He lifted by up and shoved me against the wall. The wolf was angry. The vampire was angry.

"Let's have done fun"he said, unzipping his trousers so did the other man. His lips ran down my neck. That's when I bit into him. He moaned in pleasure. The blood. The blood was so good. I couldn't stop. Doesn't he realise what I am doing to him?

His body dropped to the floor, drained of blood. His friends stared in horror at the body. I launched myself at another and one ran but he didn't get really far.

After the I drained all of them dry, I stepped over the body and walked into the night. I will go where the road leads me too.
