The first month and a half of school flew by, and before I knew it, it was the middle of October, and I have to figure out a Halloween costume for Harris and I.

"Hey. What do you want to be for Halloween?" I ask Harris, stopping him in the hallway.

"I don't know. What do you want to be?"

"I was thinking Venkman and Dana from Ghostbusters." I shrug. "I'm really not good at costumes." I say and he shrugs.

"Why do you ask?"

"Because Halloween is in two weeks and Tina's having that party that she told us about." I say and he nods.

"I gotta get to class. I'll talk to you later." He kisses me. "Love you." He smiles before rushing away.

"Let's go, asshole." Steve swings an arm over my shoulder, walking with me to our third period class.

"Has Harris been acting weird with you?"

"A little short, but I didn't think anything of it, why?"

"I don't know. He's kind of being the same with me, and he hasn't slept over this week, so I've been all alone." I shrug as we walk into class, taking our seats.

"Why wouldn't you tell Nancy? You know you're always welcome at her house."

"I don't know. I found out and it was already late, so I wasn't going to go over to her house. It was just a bummer. It's fine."

"If he doesn't sleepover tonight will you call me so that I can come? I hate that you sleep there alone all the time."

"Sylvia said that if I ever get uncomfortable with sleeping alone she'll come back home. It's just that I know she likes sharing a bed with Hopper so I never ask her to, and it's never been an issue until now." I say and he frowns.

"It's kinda fucked up that he stopped." He says and I shrug.

"I know." I look down at my fingers. "I'm gonna talk to him tomorrow or something. There's gotta be something going on." I say and he nods.

"Good."

"And I'm going to give him the silent treatment tonight, so if I'm needed, don't call my line, call the house phone." I say and he laughs.

"You're an idiot."

"Hey Sylv." I say as she picks up my call at work.

"Hey Franks, what's up?"

"I hate calling you at work, but do you think that you could start staying at home again? Harris hasn't been able to stay for the past couple nights and it's bumming me out." I say, making a face because I don't know how she's going to react.

"Of course, sweetie. I wish you told me before." She says and I shrug even though she can't see me. "Maybe I'll see if Hop and El can come to the house for dinner tonight."

"Or we can go there." I laugh. "It's a little bit of a task to get her into the house." I say and she laughs.

"We can do that." She says and I can see the smile on her face. "I'll see you later. I love you, Franks."

"Love you too, Sylv." I say before hanging up and letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

I'm happy she's going to move back in. I mean, she's always lived here, but she spent seven nights a week away, and would try her best to be here in the morning, but sometimes she just couldn't manage it, and I don't blame her. But now I know that if something or someone tries to break in, I'll have someone to be scared with.
