"Look at her. Natalia Cora Scott Hale." I smiled. "She's beautiful." Derek smiled and took her in his arms.
Scott's pack came in and greeted us. Derek was too proud to reply to them.
"Where is my beautiful godchild." Scott smiled.
He was so proud that Derek chose Scott as Natalia's godfather. Derek was humming her a lullaby no one had seen Derek like this.
"Hey Derek, Guests." "Shhht, don't wake her up our queen is finally asleep." "I thought I was the queen?" I joked.
Derek was caught of guard. He just smiled at me and said hi to his friends.
"Can I hold her?" Scott asked. "Just be careful okay?" Derek smiled. "She's beautiful." Lydia smiled. "She looks like her mother so obviously." Derek smiled.
I blushed.
"How are you holding up?" Stiles asked. "I get treated like a queen, I'm fine. It's been a week so I'm slowly starting to work out again." I said.
I looked at Derek who was proudly talking about his little girl. He felt so proud to be a father and I was proud to be with him. Derek had built a reputation over the years, but he never ever turned his back to family, after he lost his actual family he forgot that he created a new one Scott, Stiles Lydia, a pack that wouldn't leave him without a fight. Then Scott found me and I came into the family. Derek and I connected immediately. Derek trained me to be a warrior and I brought back the smile that he had lost over the years. I was lost in thought.
"Ella?" Derek asked. "I'm sorry what?" I asked. "What are you thinking about?" Derek asked and cupped my face.
I realized I had tears running down. I wiped them off.
"I'm fine, I was thinking about what happened where we came from." I said. "We came a long way." Derek said. "Yeah, I can't believe it's been 6 years." Scott sighed. "Well believe it, Scott. You're a great alpha still protecting your people the right way." Derek said.
I tried to stand up, but I was still a bit weak. Derek helped me.
"I'm fine." I said. "Let me help." Lydia smiled. "We can catch up." I smiled.
Lydia helped me and we were laughing about things Stiles had done and what crazy adventures they had done when they left. We walked back to the group and Derek was talking about the baby.He was so proud.
"Scott I'm telling you this is the best thing that'll ever happen to you. Natalia is the best thing that ever happened to me." Derek smiled. "I hear that I've got competition now." I joked. "Yeah never, you are my angel." Derek smiled. "You two are adorable." Stiles said.
Derek gave him a death glare.
"We are." I teased, "Especially Derek."
Derek kissed me and picked me up.
"I love you." I smiled. "I love you too." He smiled.
Natalia started crying. The mother instinct rose up and I took her in my arms. She immediately calmed down. I was very protective over her. Derek smiled.
"What?" I asked. "You're great at this." Derek smiled. "Thanks, you're not so bad yourself." I blushed. "Cuties." Lydia smiled. "We can all agree our little Talia is the cutest." Derek smiled.
