In Robotus, Hawkmoth reveals why he wants the Miraculouses. As I said in Part 11 on here, it's to erase the past and alter the reality (like destruction from Chat Noir for erasing the past and creation from Ladybug for altering the future). But why would he want to do that?????
But there's the timing of the plot. From the Christmas special, we know it was the first Christmas without Adrien's mum. And the pics of Adrien and Mamma Agreste look reasonably recent. So why and where did she disappear?
I've given evidence about how the temple Master Fu trains at and her disappearance link together. And if you haven't already, read Master Fu's past and Adrien's mum's disappearance.
We know Hawkmoth probably started using his Miraculous around the same time as the duo. And that's around a year after Mamma Agreste vanished. So after she disappeared, within a year, Hawkmoth got his Miraculous.
Is this why??????
And how do you get the ultimate power?????
Well, since the Vitruvian man is drawn in the ultimate power, this gives us some clues:
1. Ladybug and Chat obviously have to come together in some way- an equal balance of something. For example, Chat Noir and Adrien loves Ladybug, Ladybug and Mari love Adrien. But Mari hasn't fallen for Chat Noir and Adrien hasn't fallen for Marinette. So if both sides love each other and all is equal... what could happen next?????

2. There could be a connection between the human race and the universe - maybe the superheroes?

3. By Chat and Ladybug coming together, it could create strength (stronger against Hawkmoth), more functionality (they can transform together, etc.) and beauty (their affection for each other could blossom)

4. Then the human race could have more peace.

In the pic above, realise there is only one person. So Chat and Ladybug literally will become one. And no, I don't mean physically: I think mentally. I think there's more to the ultimate power than having both of the Miraculouses. After all, Master Fu had them both and never got it. I doubt magic forces and stuff is never that easy.
