"K, come on!" Daniel yelled up the stairs.
"We're all waiting," Nadia joined.
"Give me a second. You gave me five minutes to get ready, I just have to change really quick." I went over to my bathroom and changed into a sports bra and leggings. I put my tennis shoes on and grabbed my bag and water bottle and went downstairs.
"About time," Jonah said.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed Daniel's hand, walking out the door.

Jonah parked the car and we got out.
"Who's ready to hike?" Zach yelled. He had way too much energy.
"Zach, you should just run to the top, you know, kill some of that energy," I commented.
"Nah, I'm good."
Daniel took one of the backpacks out of the car and came over to me. "Let's go."
Everybody started walking towards the beginning of the trail. There weren't many cars, so the trail wasn’t too crowded.
After a while me and Daniel started to fall behind the others.
He grabbed my hand and kissed it before letting it fall to the side. "I still don’t know how I got so lucky."
"D, you say that every time were together."
"Because every time were together I think that."
"You're cheesy."
"I know." Daniel started swinging our hands back and forth.
We continued walking in a comfortable silence.
Once we made it to the top everyone decided we wanted to take pictures.
"Daniel, I'll take a picture of you and Daniel," Corbyn offered.
"Okay."
I got on Daniel's shoulders and we took a quick picture on my phone. I decided to post it on Instagram.

Everyone was just kind of chilling out, doing their own thing. Me and Daniel were sitting on a rock, watching the sunset.
"I love you," Daniel said randomly.

I looked over at Daniel and kissed him. "Good, because I'm in love with you too."
