I woke up cuddled into West's side. I heard his phone was ringing nonstop from downstairs.
Last night, after we got out of the pool, we went into the living room and watched a movie. We both left our phones downstairs last night.
I went downstairs and picked up his phone. I didn't bother looking at the caller of before I answered.
"Hello?" A feminine voice picked up from the other side. Why did her voice sound so familiar?
"Hi," I answered.
"Is this West's phone?" She asked.
"Yes, it is, may I ask who is speaking?"
"I'm just one of his friends. May I ask who you are?"
"I'm Kourtney, his girlfriend."
"Is West anywhere around? I need to talk to him, it's important."
"He's still asleep. His phone woke me up."
"Okay, just tell him to call back later. Bye."
"Wait," I said before the person could hang up. "I can't tell him who to call back of I don't know your name."
"He'll know who. Bye." The girl hung up the phone.
I checked the caller id and it was just 2 laughing face emojis. Oh well. I wasn't the type of girlfriend to snoop for my boyfriend's phone. I had guy friends and he respected that, so I wasn't going to get jealous just because he had other friends that were girls. But, it did put me on edge.
I grabbed my phone and went back upstairs. West was sitting on the bed looking through a book.
"Your phone woke me up. You need to call someone back." I handed him his phone.
He looked up at me, confused. "Who?"
"I don't know, they wouldn't tell me their name."
"What was their contact name?"
"Two laughing face emojis."
West stood up and walked out of the room, I'm guessing to call the person back.
I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower. I changed into a white sweater and some leggings Nadia had brought. I put in some light foundation, concealer, mascara, and lip balm. I put on my airplane necklace and went back downstairs to find West.
"Hey, you almost ready?" I asked.
"Yeah, let me go get our bags and we can go."
"Okay, I'll go start the car."
I went outside and started the car.
While I was waiting all I could think about was that girl. I didn't get jealous, just over protective. I shouldn't have a real reason to be jealous, he can have friends that are girls. But why did she sound so familiar? Who was she?
