A/N: so I was actually planning on ditching this story since I started writing it when I was a youngling and now I'm an adult (pretty much). However, as it turns out, there are people still invested in this story and I thought it would be kinda mean to not at least try and wrap it up. A280carbine this is for you, buddy.
-When I came back to the dorm my room wasn't exactly how I left it. "Mandy, where's all my stuff?"
"Oh, you didn't hear? Mrs Peabody changed your rooms. You're rooming with Eunice." I paused and tried to recall a girl with that name before giving up.
"And this doesn't have anything to do with me not being a cheerleader anymore?"
"No, it's about you destroying our room. Now if you're done talking, can you please leave?" She ignored me and continued to read her magazine.
"Screw you too." I slammed the door shut on my out.My new room looked pretty much the same as my old one except no posters of boys and a lot of chocolate boxes.
"Miss Kris!" I turned around to find a frowning woman glaring at me.
"What do you want?" I folded my arms.
"You will talk to me with respect, young lady, unless you want your punishment to be extended."
"Punishment?"
"You can't seriously believe that you would get away with the mess you made in your old room. Until further notice all your out of campus privileges have been revoked, you will not be leaving school grounds without explicit permission from me. You are also responsible for cleaning this dorm's bathroom until the end of this semester."
"The heck I am! That's not fair-"
"One more word out of you and it'll be until the end of the year." I scoffed. "I went through your belongings and confiscated your inappropriate CDs and books."
"You went through my stuff?! You had no right-"
"On the contrary, I have every right. You'll receive all of them back when the year comes to an end. Until then I suggest you behave or else."
"Or else? Are you threatening me? What the heck is this?! I swear you'll regret this!" I pushed past her.
"Miss Kris! Come back here this instant!" I clenched my fists and ran as fast as I could. Punching a teacher would definitely get me expelled but it could also get me arrested. The library was as quiet as always despite the students that were lounging there. To be fair they were reading. I found a table and dumped my bag on it before letting myself fall on one of the chairs. This school was seriously tiring me out, I need to get out of here pronto. Still, there's no telling what Gary would do if I just disappeared out of the blue. Bastard's smart, I'll give him that.
"So how'd it go with Gary?" Pete sat down on the chair across from me.
"I managed. By the way," I stretched my arms, "how'd you know it was him?"
"If you stay in this school long enough you'll start to notice how every incident and rumor somehow involves Gary. Like the ones about you."
"Wait, people are talking about me? What are they saying?"
"That you're an emotionally unstable freak who got expelled from her old school because she committed arson." I titled my head backwards to the person who just said that.
"Ha, that's funny because I could've sworn I heard something similar about you, Jimmy."
"Yeah, well at least no one is accusing you of having a sex change." He slumped down on the chair beside Pete.
"Or calling you a dork."
"Yes, but unlike you Jimmy, the rumors about me and Pete are true." Jimmy raised his eyebrows. "I didn't set anything on fire but I did get expelled from my last school."
"So, it's sorta true." Pete mused. "Look at the bright side, now you and Jimmy have something in common."
"You mean other than the fact that the entire school thinks we're freaks."
"Better than acting like an idiot." He stood up. "Well, Pete and I gotta go."
"See ya." I better leave too, I still need to fill my end of the bargain with Gary. The Harrington House was, I kid you not, twice the size of the Boy's Dorm if not more. It looked so pretentious and fraternity-like that all I wanted to do was egg it. But that's not why I'm here. Unfortunately. "Ugh. Why do I have to join them?" I groaned before physically forcing myself to walk up the front steps. I then rang the doorbell, yes this mansion that belongs in Victorian England has a doorbell, and waited.
"Oh, you actually came." I was met by a tall and muscular prep whose name I couldn't quite remember. "Derby's been expecting you."
"Is that so?" I raised an eyebrow. No doubt Gray had a hand in this. "Well, lead the way."
