Post Story Chapter 2 Part 1: UB01 Attacks!

A\N: This one ended up pretty intense,but this is one part of two. Also Happy Early Thanksgiving! I should be able to get the next part out soon.

"Now take your medicine and go to bed", you told Gladion offering him a spoon of medicine. He wasn't happy to be sick or taking medicine. You knew being sick wasn't fun, but the best thing was for Gladion to get some rest. Gladion took the medicine, and you got him back to bed. You wanted to stay there and baby him, but you had something to do today. A detective named Looker was in charge of the Ultra Beast investigation and he called saying that there's been a sighting on Melemele Island. "Do you need anything before I leave? I probably won't be back for a while" you told him. He shook his head. >< You wanted to stay with him so bad. That sick look he was giving you, just tugged at your female instincts. "Don't look at me like that Gladion. I know you're not feeling well. But you need to sleep so please get some rest", you said. From behind you someone came in, "Don't worry I'll make sure he gets all better ^^" Lusamine said. Maybe she was too excited about this. Gladion gave you this look as if to say 'please don't leave me with her'. Sorry Gladion, the champion was needed elsewhere. Lillie came in not too long afterwards, "I'll be here too. I'm sure mother can use an assistant" she said. "Oh Lillie that's a good idea. You're such a good sister", Lusamine praised her as she squeezed Lillie in a hug. You better get going before things get weirder. You really shouldn't be kissing Gladion, but a quick peck on the forehead won't hurt. "I'll be back before you know it ^ ^", you reassured him.

With some assistance from the ride Pokemon Charizard, you flew to route 8 to meet Looker at the inn. He informed you that UB01 has been spotted near Wela Volcano. He also gave you any known information about the beast. Its real name was Nihilego, but it was unknown if the creature had a type. "It would be best if you could defeat the beast and somehow send it back where it came from. That's the plan. But if it fails, we might have to detain it" Looker told you. This ultra-beast must be the first one you saw on your first trip to the Aether Foundation. The one Lusamine made herself at home with. Hopefully with the knowledge of encountering it, you should be able to take it down. Though, it won't be an easy task. "Before you go take these", Looker stopped you. He handed you these unique Pokeballs. "If it doesn't retreat back into the worm hole use this on it and bring it back to the dimensional research lab in Heahea City. I'm sure professor Burnet will know what to do" he told you. You put the beast pokeballs in your pack. This certainly took another turn if you had to catch it. Thinking about it though, Lusamine had a special pokeball in the ultra-worm hole with her. Maybe it's the same thing. Leaving the inn, you walked down the road to Wela Volcano. It would be best if you had one of your Pokemon out with you. You brought out Sylveon. Though maybe it would be better to have two, since these beast were supposed to be strong. You summoned Torracat as well. "Listen you two, we're looking for one of the ultra-beast so I need you to be ready for anything", you told them. Both of them understood.

Once you arrived at the volcano, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Although, there wasn't a wild Pokemon in sight. The three of you walked up the path to the volcano. "AGHHHH! SOMEBODY HELP!" someone screamed from within the cave. Not that you were happy to find it, but at least you did. You rushed in and saw the beast attacking a man. His Pokemon was knocked out. "Sylveon use Swift!" you ordered. Sylveon pelted the beast with its attack, drawing its attention. "Are you alright sir?", you asked the man. The man ran over to his Pokemon, "I'm ok thanks to you" he said. Glad to see you made it here in time. "Torracat Flamethrower!" you commanded. Torracat covered the beast in flames, but it wasn't very effective. Though the attack gave the man enough time to get to your side. You told the man to get back to town and warn anyone on their way here. He took no time to flee the area. Now to time to get rid of this thing. So far normal and fire attacks didn't seem to leave any marks, but perhaps fighting as a team will help get past it defenses. "Torracat use Flamethrower again and Sylveon use Moonblast! Attack together!" you directed them. Torracat attack from ground level, while Sylveon jumped up into the air for its Moonblast. The two attacks launched in unison but before it could touch the beast, it vanished. Where did it go? Torracat and Sylveon checked around them. How did this thing just disappear?
