Chapter 8: Briana gets a surprise visit/Jayden and Briana go on a date

Briana-

I was practicing drawing my symbol. I smiled when my symbol power produced some snow. I smiled and got up from my seat.

"Can you produce any animal using you symbol power" I herd jayden ask me.

The others were inside talking with each other. I nodded.

I drew my symbol power in the air. "SYmbol power! Coyote!" I swiped the symbol and it produced a snow colored coyote.

"That's amazing" Jayden smiled at me and came to me.

I was petting my coyote smiling.

"Briana," I heard Jayden say to me.

"yeah Jay?" I replied.

"You maybe wanna go out with me?" Jayden looked at me.

I smiled at him. "I would love to go out with you Jay." I said to him.

Jayden smiled. We were just about to kiss when I saw an arrow land by me.

"What's that?" Jayden asked me when I picked up the note of the arrow.

"Briana, meet me in the forest at 1:00 this afternoon." I read. Jayden took the note from me.

"It also says to come alone." Jayden said to me. "Who would send you this?" Jayden looked at me.

"I don't know" I said.

I wonder who sent me that note. We held hands and went inside. I told the others about the note.

"What are you going to do?" Mia asked me.

"I'm going to meet the person." I said.

-1:00pm-

I walked into the forest and sighed. I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around and was shocked to see my .

"Diana? Is really you?" I asked going to her.

"It's really me Bree" Diana said and ran to me and hugged me. She let go after a few minutes and smiles at me with tears in her eyes.

"You look a lot happier than you usually do whys that?" she asked me. "Let's just say I have to go somewhere with Jayden in a bit" I told her.

She smirked and gave me a knowing look.

"Shut up. You can't say anything since you like-" she cut me off.

"I don't like him! He's rude and a...ugh! What do I do! I'm supposed to hate Hunter" she complained.

I laughed and she gave me a pouty face making me laugh more.

Diana-

We talked for a bit before heading to the Shiba house.

Once we got there Briana opened the door for me and let me in.

I thanked her and we walked into the living room section.

I saw five unfamiliar teenagers and my older sister Mack.

I squealed and jumped on her back. She yelp and I kept messing with her hair.

I hopped off her and before I could do anything else Mack crushed me in a bear hug. "Mack....can't.....breath" I wheezed out.

"Oops sorry Anna" Mack apologized letting me go.

I chuckled and faced the other rangers. "Hello I am the younger sister of Briana and Mack" I mumbled the last part to myself.

"Anyway what are you names?" I asked them.

"I'm Jayden. They are Mike, Kevin, Emily, and Mia" Jayden introduced. I looked from Jayden to Briana and smirked.

"So this is the famous Jayden" I said walking up to him. "Diana please don't" Briana pleaded.

I looked up at him and pulled him down so my mouth was a good few inches away from his ear.

"You hurt my sister I will make you go through the nilock world and back because I am a beast when it comes to my siblings getting hurt and if you hurt her so help me I will make. you. pay mr. Got it?" I asked pushing him a little bit away from me.

He nodded a little and I smiled at him. "Good. Now I'm gonna go cook some ramen who wants some?" I asked.

"Before you do. You know how to cook and won't burn the kitchen down right?" Kevin asked. I nodded and walked to the kitchen.

Mack-

I walked into the kitchen and listened to Diana sing to her favorite song Love can Save it All. I smiled and closed my eyes listening to her voice.

After she finished singing she had put the ramen in the bowls. She served them to us and then walked to her new room since she'd be staying here for now.

When we finished I walked to Briana's room with herself in tow. When we got there we saw Diana going through her closet.

"Ah ha!" Diana said pulling out multiple clothing items. She turned and looked at us.

Briana-

Diana threw the clothes at me and pointed to the bathroom. I groaned and walked into the bathroom. I put the outfit on and then walked back to Diana.

She did my makeup and hair and slipped my shoes on my feet. When she was done she stepped out of the way and I gasped at my reflection in the mirror. Diana frowned. "Do you not like it?" Diana asked sitting on the bed.

"No. I love it. Thank you so much Diana" I said giving her a huge hug. She giggled and hugged back before pushing me out of the room.

We walked to the front door and Jayden was waiting there with some decent clothes. I smiled at him and we held hands and walked out of the gates to the Shiba House.

-still in Brianna's POV-

Briana's date outfit:

Jayden took me to a beautiful meadow where he had a picnic layed out for them. Jayden led her to the blanket. I smiled and sat down with him. After we ate, we stayed in the meadow for a little bit longer.

"So, do you have any other siblings?" He asked me.

"I have a twin sister named misha. I haven't seen her since she went off to military school" I said to him.

"Why did your parents separate you from her?" Jayden asked me.

"She was a rebel. She never listened to our parents. It was more of my dad that sent her away than my mom." I said. "My mom was trying to help my sister become lessons of a rebel. When that didn't work, my dad had enough and shipped her off to military school."

"I know how you feel. I had a best friend name Antonio. When last saw each other it wasn't when we were 10 years old and before he and his dad moved away. I haven't seen him since then." Jayden said to me.

"I'm sorry about that Jay," I told him. I lied down on the blanket and looked at the sky. I felt him lay next to me and looked at him.

He was already looking at me and I realized how close we were. My cheeks turned a little pink along with his and we leaned in. Our lips connected and fireworks exploded in my stomach.

We pulled apart for air and smiled at each. We stood up and put everything up. When we finished we walked back to the Shiba house and heard music.

We walked inside and saw Diana, Mack, Mike, Emily, Kevin, and Mia dancing. Jayden and I looked at each other and shrugged. We joined in just as the song changed to Don't Wanna Go Home by Jason Derulo. Diana squealed and started break dancing making us laugh.

When the song was over we all looked at each other before burst out laughing. It stopped when we heard a knock on the door. Diana stood up and walked to the door.
