Chapter 7: Fish out of Water

Briana-

i was eating with the team, Mia was off doing something and I was watching MAck and Kevin play with their food Mike looked at them and to tell you it was kinda creepy.

"What are you doing?" Mike asked him. "Just eat already"

"Look, there is a right way to do anything" Kevin said.

"It is in the Samurai code." Mack said

"Wow your so wound up, I'm surprised you guys are able to digest your food" Mike said with a smile.

I chuckled and I saw a flashback of my mother. I sighed and put my bowl down. I felt Emily's hand on my shoulder.

"You alright?" She Mouthed to me.

I nodded. I saw Mia come in with a plate of food. I looked at Jayden and back at Mia.

"I've made a new recipe" Mia said. "Everybody love PB and J sandwiches..."

As Mia kept talking. I blocked out her voice. I kept thinking about my Mother. I saw Mia introduce a new recipe called an PB and J omelet. I stood up and walked to the window.

"Persuasion and discipline huh?" I heard mike say to MAck and Kevin.

Mentor ji came in.

"Everyone, I have news. The missing swordfish zord has been spotted in lumitor beach.

We all looked at him.

"A swordfish?" I asked him.

"A zord that went missing in action years ago" ji said. "Of we don't catch this now, who knows when we'll get another chance at this." The alarm went off . "Nighlok"

Jayden stood up and looked at Kevin.

"Kevin, well deal with the nighlok. You go try to catch the zord. Are you up for a solo mission?" Jayden said.

"Ready? I've been training my whole life for this" Kevin said.

"With your mastery of symbol power of the sea, im confident you'll catch it" Jayden said. Kevin left to go catch the zord and me, Jayden, Mack, Mia, Emily and Mike went to go deal with the nighlok.

Mack-

me and the team, minus Kevin, ran to town.

"Where's the nighlok?" Mike asked.

we saw a man on the ground in pain. Bree, Mia and Emily went to the guy.

"Are you alright?" Emily asked him.

"He can barely move." Briana said.

We heard a nighlok laugh.

Jayden sniffs the air. "What's that smell" he said.

"Hey, you saying I got a certain aroma about me?" A nighlok said coming out from his hiding place.

"Samuraizer!" Jayden shouted taking his morpher out. We did the same thing.

"Go! Go! Samurai!" We shouted and morphed into our power ranger form.

"Let's get him!" Briana shouted with mike.

"Once you sniff my funky smell, you'll be a knock out!" The nighlok said kicking Briana and then Mike.

Kevin-

i was at the beach looking for the zord. I climbed up onto the rocks. I looked out into the ocean.

"If dad could see me now" I said. I hadn't a flashback of the last time I saw my father before coming out of the swim team to be a samurai ranger. "This is what all the hard work is training was for. I won't go back without the swordfish zord!"
