*Ginoza's POV*
I sat at my desk trying silently fuming; no one had ever spoken to me so bluntly before or so coldly. I glared at the h/c female as she met the rest of the hounds under my command. I pushed up my glasses as I finally came to the conclusion to speak to the Chief of having the child removed, or perhaps have both of them transferred to another Unit. I slowly relaxed at the thought and soon noticed how diligently the h/c enforcer worked after she took her child to her room. My eyes narrowed as I suddenly realized something. Slowly I stood and made my way to the enforcer before asking "Why is the child allowed to stay with you?"
Her e/c eyes met mine as she answered "I thought the answer was quite obvious Inspector." I gave her a chilly glare before saying "If it was I wouldn't be asking." She leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms before blandly explaining "Since I'm not charged with anything I am still able to take care of her. They said they wanted to watch me, but that didn't include keeping her away from me. Once the psychologist said that she was better off in my care Anna was instantly returned to my keeping with your Chief's final decision." "Why do you admit to the murder?" I asked pushing up my glasses.
"Because I did indeed murder someone" she answered blandly. "Why?" I asked still not believing her. "They were bad men" she answered with a shrug. "What did they do?" I asked. "I'm sure you'll find the answers you seek in the report" she said her eyes meeting mine. "I'll read the report later but for now I want to hear it from you" I demanded. "They didn't do anything to me" she said her voice emotionless and bland. "So you murdered them because you could?" I said angrily.
"I don't normally go around killing people for no reason Inspector. In fact I was a model citizen before the incident 2 years ago. So believe me when I said they had it coming Inspector. They did something utterly unforgivable, and because they're hues never changed they never got caught. So I made a plan, waiting for them and killed them all" she said with a chilly smile. Her smile reminded me of a killer lion stalking its prey, and it was then that I finally stopped doubting what I was told. The woman who sat before me and blandly answered my questions felt no remorse for her actions, like she truly believed they deserved what happened to them.
"You're no better than the other's" I said. She stood before advancing towards me, when we were nothing more than a few inches away from each other she whispered "Woof" before she walked away. I glared at her as she walked away, before I went back to my desk. After a few more hours of paper work I left and headed towards the lab. I met with Shion Karanomori and asked her to pull up a few records. She gave me a red smile before complying with my demand. "So this is the new enforcer?" she asked as she pulled up the requested files.
Most of the files she pulled up where completely blacked out which infuriated me. "She's very resourceful I'll tell you that" she said. She showed me a few files and said "2 years ago Y/N L/N was picked up in an ally surrounding by dismembered body parts of what seemed to be four men. She was wearing a tight white button down shirt; a mini pleated plaid skirt, with thigh high stocking's black shoes and a black tie. They spotted her standing there looking at the bodies with a bloody katana resting on her shoulder."
"When they got closer to arrest her, she didn't put up a fight, nor did she try to say that she didn't do it. When they put her in the back of the car she was covered in blood, and when she was asked what happened she casually admitted to the murders. They only had the bloody clothes and the weapon that was used. They couldn't find any videos of the murder, and they tested her hue but there hadn't been a change" she finished and pulled up pictures of the scene of the crime as well as the evidence they had collected.
"Can you find anything on her that isn't blacked out?" I asked. I heard her typing and say "I only have an old newspaper article." She pulled it up and there was a picture of Y/N L/N standing next to a young boy. The caption read "Local Mother Works Wonders!!" Then the article went to explain on how she adopted a boy whose hue was dark with a coefficient near 100 against professional advice. Then it explained how that after the adoption his rate dropped significantly over the year. She denied having any secret going to say that all the boy needed was someone to understand him and to love him.
"Can you see how many children she's adopted after this? Or any information on any of them after the fact?" I asked. She shrugged and said "I can try" before continuing to type. "I found 2 other adoption records with her name on them and one recent one" she said after a moment. "And?" I demanded. "They were all against professional advice. The others grew up and are doing a lot of good in the community. You are in charge of a miracle worker" she answered. After receiving the information I wanted I left and went home, thinking over everything I had learned.
