I walked into my last class of the day. I was late. The teacher scowled at me, but realised I was new and told me to take a seat.
I looked around the class and spotted Eli sitting with Hampson in the middle of class. My eyes landed on Emma who was seated with her orange looking new friends, she had an empty seat next to her. The next empty seat was next to Kent who smirked darkly at me. The final empty seat was near the back of the class, next to Jasper and Ivan.
I looked at Kent and Emma before gritting my teeth and walking to the back of the classroom and taking a seat next to Jasper.
He turned to me with a small smirk. "You must really hate the other two if you're choosing to sit next to me."
"You have no idea," I muttered.
"What did the guy say to you? When you kicked him the day you got here?" Jasper asked quietly.
"What do you care?" I snapped.
"It must've been something pretty bad," Jasper pushed.
"It's none of your business," I said and glared at him. "Now do me a favour and shut the fuck up."
"It is my business."
"Tell me what you did with my blood and then I'll tell you," I said.
"We just did some tests," Jasper shrugged.
"I am aware of that. What bloody tests?" I hissed.
"Now that is none of your business," Jasper said and I scowled at him.
"You're an ass."
Jasper shrugged. "What did that guy do?"
"Doesn't matter."
"I could just ask him," Jasper said.
"Why do you want to know? He's an ass. Just fucking leave it," I snapped.
"I'm interested now," Jasper said and he waited for the teacher to set the class a task before getting up and walking over to Kent.
"Fucking hell," I groaned and stood up and hurried after him. "Jasper, leave it."
"Why did she attack you?" Jasper asked Kent.
"Because she's a nutcase," Kent shrugged. "Who are you?"
"Jasper, and I'll ask again, why did she attack you?" Jasper snapped.
"I'm going to attack you in a minute!" I hissed.
"I said that she should have died that night," Kent said slowly and smirked at me.
"That night?" Jasper said and looked at me. "The night you were..."
I averted my eyes and clenched my hands into fists.
A second later there was a crash and Kent was lying on the ground, clutching his face.
"You bastard!" Kent growled and I looked at Jasper who was shaking out his red fist.
"You punched him?" I said and raised an eyebrow at Jasper who gave me a look.
"Jasper!" The teacher yelled. "Headteacher's office! Now!"

I walked into my room after school and frowned when I saw a letter on my bed.
"What the-" I picked up the letter and ripped it open.
Daisy Kellerman,
Richard wants to speak to you. Be at my house at 11pm. If you're not there we will come and get you.
-J
I scoffed and scrunched the letter into a ball and threw it onto my bed. "Ass," I muttered and glanced out of my window. Jasper was outside of his house fixing his motorbike.
He had received detention for a week for punching Kent. I was glad that someone punched him when I couldn't.
"I'm going out tonight, you in?" Beth asked as she walked into my room.
"It's a weekday," I said.
"And when has that ever stopped you before?" Beth laughed.
"My ID says I'm 17, remember?"
"Daisy, I know you better than that," Beth said and grabbed my purse, pulling out my real ID.
I rolled my eyes and snatched it from her. "Beth, I've not been out since... Since it happened."
"Oh shit, I completely forgot, don't worry about it-"
"No," I said and glanced at the screwed up letter on my bed. "Let's do it."

Beth and I ditched the evening 'group' session about the mission and got ready instead. Because I had limited movement in my injured hands Beth expertly did my makeup so my bruises were invisible and I slipped into skin tight red dress that reached just above my knees and showed off just enough cleavage to still look classy. I paired the outfit with some simple black flats.
"We look hot," Beth said, admiring us in the mirror. She was in a skirt and crop top and had grown a few inches because of her killer black heels.
"We're so vain," I teased and ruffled up my silver hair that had been styled into bouncy curls that reached the middle of my back.
"With a body like yours I would not stop looking at myself!" Beth gasped and grabbed her purse.
"Shut up," I laughed and grabbed my black clutch which contained my real ID, money and my phone.
"Shall we go? The taxi is here," Beth said and I linked my arm through hers.
"We gotta get outta this house as quick as we can, if Eli or Blake spot us we won't be going anywhere," I said.
"Hopefully they should all be discussing today," Beth said and walked out of my room and quietly made our way downstairs. Beth eyed the front door and looked at me. "Coast is clear," she said and within seconds we were out of the house and outside into the dark night.
I looked across the road and paused when I saw Jasper standing by one of the upstairs windows. His eyes landed on me and I smirked, raising my middle finger up at him and climbing into the taxi that was parked on the road.
"Where to, girls?" The taxi driver asked and I glanced back at Jasper as the taxi driver drove away.
"Anywhere where I can get a drink."

"How you doing?" Beth shouted into my ear.
"Better than I expected," I admitted as a guy brushed past me on his way to the bar. The club was busy and the music was loud; I thought I might have freaked out, but I was dealing with it well. On the inside I screamed whenever a guy touched me, but on the outside you never would have thought something was wrong.
"Atta girl," Beth grinned and passed me a shot.
I smiled and took it.

A few hours later I was relatively sober. It was my first night out since it happened and part of me wanted to stay sober and alert.
"Beth!" I said and clutched Beth's arm. "I'm going to the ladies room!"
