I walked out of the changing rooms dressed in running leggings and a loose vest top, sighing when I saw the entrance to the gym.
PE meant I had to see Adam.
"Daisy!"
I span round and gasped when I saw Beth. "What the-" I pushed through a bunch of other girls, ignoring their glares and rushed over to Beth. "What are you doing here!" I exclaimed and hugged her.
She smirked as we pulled apart and started walking towards the gym. "Adam called me and another agent in. He's doing a self defence class. He wants to see how some potential recruits handle themselves. We're posing as professional instructors."
"Fancy," I teased and we walked into the gym. Both the girls and the boys were mixed together today and I spotted Max talking to Adam.
"I better go," Beth said. "Don't hurt anyone too badly today," she warned and then walked off to Adam and Max.
I spotted Joey with his friends and I walked over to him. "Who's that?" Joey asked, nodding to Beth.
"A friend of mine. She teaches self defence," I said, half lying.
"Self defence!" Joey grinned and some of his mates smiled. "Cool!"
I nodded and I looked across the gym where Eli was with Noah and their friends. Eli glanced at me, then Joey and then looked away.
"Everyone, listen up!" Adam yelled, gaining everyone's attention. "Today's class is going to be a little different. We've got two hours of PE so we're going to have some fun. Today I will let our guests here take over. This is Beth and Max and they are professional defence instructors, trained in various martial arts and they are extremely skilled at what they do."
Excited whispers could be heard from the guys, but the girls just groaned.
"Listen to them, people! And have fun!"
I zoned out as Beth and Max started to talk, going over the basics and showing the class some moves that a two year old could could probably do. I noticed Eli had zoned out as well, both of us were trained to the exact same standards as Beth and Max, and to be honest we were probably better than them.
I wasn't being vain, but you didn't get the reputation of being one of the best at the Agency if you weren't good.
"Everyone pair up!" Beth instructed. "Then go stand on a mat with your partner."
I scoffed when I realised there were soft mats scattered around the hall, at the Agency you'd be lucky if you could train on rock hard grass.
Suddenly there was a lot of speaking, moving about and general confusion and somehow I ended up on a mat opposite Emma.
"Why, hello," I smirked and crossed my arms over my chest. Emma had been a general nuisance while I had been at school. She was constantly approaching me, trying to intimidate me and get me to worship her feet.
It infuriated her that I wasn't scared at her.
"I'm going to claw your ugly face off," Emma sneered and I raised an eyebrow.
"Are you now?" I chuckled. "Although, I think if you got your nails into something they could do some damage." I looked at her horrible fake nails and she glared at me.
"They'll be going into your eye, slut," she warned and I smirked.
"Okay, guys, you are going to practise fighting each other using the techniques we have just shown you. Remember, you are not to harm each other! If you cause any unnecessary harm then you will not be allowed to continue," Max called and I smirked at Emma.
