Epilogue -
It's been two weeks since the beldam disappeared. Any trace of the witch or portals have been destroyed. The little door in my old apartment is gone, and the well at the top of the hill is gone. There are no traces of the other world, except for Wybie and I who remember everything.
Wybie has been getting better, both mentally and physically. He's starting to get back to his normal self. It took some time, but we finally got him to feel safe in the main apartment.
Wybie and I started school last week, actually. We go to the high school near the Pink Palace. We're both Juniors in high school now. Mrs. Lovat still talks about her twin sister and always tells us stories about her. I still think of the day I met her, Mrs. Lovat's twin. Even though she was a ghost, I could still see Mrs. Lovat in her.
Everything is starting to go back to normal. My parents still don't believe the story, but Mrs. Lovat and Mr. Bobinski do. The jumping mice circus has finished their rehearsals, and are performing tonight for the Pink Palace. Everyone is meeting upstairs in his apartment for the show.
Things are finally looking up for the Pink Palace.

And, that's the end! That was my attempt at writing at final closing for the book, but I hope you guys liked it! I honestly can't thank everyone enough for all the positive feedback on this story. You guys are why I love writing and making stories for other people to read.
