Third Person POV

Rin was sitting by the fire watching the fish she and Sakura caught cook when she realized that her adoptive mother was nowhere to be seen. "Papa?" She asked, looking to her adoptive father. "What is it?" He asked.

"Where's Mama?" She asked. "That foolish woman probably went off on her own again. If she was going to keep doing this, then why did she even bother..." Jaken couldn't finish because Sesshomaru threw a rock at him.

"Stay here. I'll go look for her." With that he walked away and soon found Sakura near a river, looking at the moon. "Sakura." She hummed to let him know she heard him.

"Rin was curious as to where you'd gone." He told her and she smiled. "Well as you can see I'm fine. Sesshomaru?" She asked.

"What is it?" He asked. "Remember when I first returned to my time?" She asked.

"What of it?" He asked, letting her know he remembered. "I actually thought I'd never come back to this time." Sesshomaru's eyes widened slightly at this.

"I honestly thought that, but then I thought of something that made me decide to come back." She told him. "What was it?" She smiled at his curiosity.

"You don't have to tell me if you wish." He told her. "I thought of you." He stiffened at that, then remembered her feelings for him. 'How long has she had feelings for me?' He thought.

Unknown to them, Rin and Jaken were watching from the bushes. "Why are we doing this once again?" Jaken asked. "Hush, Grandpa Jaken." Rin whispered, focusing on her adoptive parents.

Sesshomaru stepped closer to Sakura, making her turn around in confusion. "Sakura, the time you tried to protect me from Inuyasha's Wind Scar, why did you try to do so?" Sakura blushed at the question, then looked at the ground. "Well, I..." Rin leaned somewhat closer, but was careful not to make any noise.

"It was because I was afraid I was going to lose you." She told him, making Rin and Jaken gasp quietly. "It was a foolish thing for you to do." Sesshomaru said, making her frown. "However, it was appreciated." His words made her blush worse.

He stepped closer and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her to his chest as she placed her hands on his chest to try and stop him, but failed. "What are you doing?" She asked shyly. "Rarely do we have time to ourselves." He whispered, making her eyes widen slightly, before she rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.

'Sesshomaru, what are you feelings for me?' Sakura thought. Jaken was in shock at his master's action, while Rin was trying not to squeal in happiness.

Rin blew on the fire so she could roast the mushrooms she found, then looked at Jaken. "Grandpa Jaken?" She asked. "What is it?" He asked.

"Where did Mama and Papa go?" She asked. "I have no idea." He answered, before thinking about how silent his master had been, then sighing.

"Careful, Grandpa Jaken, you'll sigh all your happiness away." Rin said, then held out one of the mushrooms to him, but it was too hot, while she held it with ease.

Sakura's POV

Sesshomaru and I stood on a cliff, then he placed his hand on Tenseiga. "What is it?" I asked him. "Something disturbs the Tenseiga." He answered, then I felt something nearby.

"Byakugan!" My eyes widened when I say a headless demon. "Over there. I see a headless demon." He picked me up, then flew off.

It was nighttime by the time we found the demon and it was harmed. I looked up to see Inuyasha's group, then a small demon jumped off Inuyasha's back, then pulled out what I assumed to be the demon's head. He seemed to be waiting for something to happen, but nothing did, then I walked towards him and picked him up. "He's gone." I told him gently and he sobbed into my chest, crying for his father.

"Shh." I tried to soothe. "Sesshomaru, Sakura, what are you two doing around here? This is no coincidence crossing paths with you." Inuyasha said and I frowned.

"Sit boy!" I shouted and he fell. "We came here because I saw the demon and something was disturbing Tenseiga, stupid!" I shouted at him, then realized what I said and Kagome begged Sesshomaru to help them by reviving the boy's father.

"Why should I? This has nothing to do with me." Sesshomaru said, then went to leave. "Sesshomaru, please find it in your heart to help my friend. If his Pa passes on, Kanta will be all alone." Shippo said, then Kanta turned to him.

"Step aside." Sesshomaru ordered. "Please help my..." "Sesshomaru." They all looked at me.

"If you won't save the boy's father because Shippo asked, then do it for me." His eyes widened slightly. "Saki-nee?" Kagome asked.

"You're wasting your time, Sakura. Sesshomaru's not really the kind to help people in trouble and besides that there's the sword itself. The Tenseiga isn't something a guy like him knows how to use." Inuyasha said and I realized what he meant.

"True enough. I forgot that. Only someone with a caring heart can wield the sword." Miroku said and I felt my heart start to break.

"Miroku/Inuyasha!" Kagome and Sango shouted since they knew how I felt about Sesshomaru. "Sit boy!" Inuyasha fell once more.

"Sit boy, sit boy, sit boy! Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit boy!" I shouted with tears in my eyes. "Sakura." I turned to Sesshomaru and his eyes widened slightly at my tears.

"Do you truly wish for me to save this demon?" He asked and I nodded, then the Tenseiga pulsed. "Very well." He unsheathed the sword and cut through the emissaries of the afterlife.

The demon so woke and Kanta jumped from my arms, then the demon described that he was in the afterlife and that he saw the skeleton of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's father. "Sakura/Saki-nee!" I turned to Kagome and Sango.

"Tell him." I blushed, knowing what they meant, then looked to Sesshomaru. "Lord Sesshomaru! Lady Sakura! We finally found you." I looked up to see Rin and Jaken on Ah-Un.

"Mama! Papa!" Rin ran towards me and jumped into my arms. "Tell him!" Kagome and Sango urged me.

"Sesshomaru." He turned to me. "What is it?" He asked, then I turned bright red.

"Um... Thank you for saving the boy's father. Let's go, Rin." We climbed onto Ah-Un with Jaken, then we took off, while Sesshomaru followed.
