The Stealthy Poison-User, Mukotsu/Inuyasha Shows His Tears for the First Time

I suddenly felt a weird presence, while we were walking. "Sesshomaru." I said and he nodded. "I can smell that boy." He told me.

"Papa, why are you after Naraku?" Rin asked. "Silly girl... He's angry because you were abducted by Naraku." Jaken said.

"For me?" She asked. "Don't be so conceited. Underneath that calm exterior, Lord Sesshomaru's a beast of boiling rage." Jaken said, then Sesshomaru glared at him, before punching him.

"I need to keep my mouth shut." He said. "I see what you mean." Rin said. I soon felt Inuyasha's presence and we had Jaken stay with Rin, while we followed it.

I saw someone hurting Kagome and I summoned my sword, then Sesshomaru used his poison whip on the demon. "He's not here, Sesshomaru." I said. "A human?" The thing on the ground asked, then he smirked, making me raise an eyebrow, before I suddenly realized what was going on.

'The air is poisonous.' I fell to the ground and I heard Sesshomaru's footsteps. "Who the hell are you?" The thing asked.

"I was about to ask you that." Sesshomaru said, then he glanced at me. "What did you do to her?" He asked and I felt him lift me into his arm.

"You attacked me when you don't even know me?" The thing asked and I heard footsteps running away. "Sakura?" Sesshomaru asked and I weakly opened my eyes.

"Air... Poison." I managed to tell him, before I passed out.

Third Person POV

Sesshomaru frowned, seeing Sakura loose consciousness and her followed Mukotsu outside. "You can still move after my venomous claw?" He asked and Mukotsu laughed. "Take this!" He opened his container of poison and fumes came out.

Sesshomaru looked at Sakura and moved her so her face was against his chest so she wouldn't breath in anymore poison. The fumes soon disappear, revealing to Mukotsu that Sesshomaru was fine, then the demon lord walks towards him. "Wait...! Please wait… I was… I was wrong… Forgive me. Just don't take my life! Don't take my life!" Sesshomaru stopped and Mukotsu released crimson fumes, but Sesshomaru didn't move.

The fumes soon disappear, but Sesshomaru was fine. He placed Sakura down and took out Tokijin, before he slashed Mukotsu in half. "A poison made by humans doesn't stand a chance against me." He said, then put his sword away and kneeled beside Sakura.

"Kagome!" He heard his younger brother shout, but he didn't take his eyes off Sakura. "Sesshomaru!?" He shouted.

"Bastard! What did you do to Kagome and the others!?" He asked. "No... Sesshomaru... Saved us." Kagome said.

"I didn't save you... I merely got rid of something that will hinder our talk. That's all. Now that Sakura has been poisoned that talk will have to wait." He said and lifted her up.

"Rin... She... Started learning... To treat... Poisons..." Sakura said weakly and Sesshomaru nodded, before he started to walk away, then noticed his brother wasn't following him. "Aren't you coming?" He asked.

"You're going to help us?" Shippo asked him. "I'm only doing this for Sakura." He corrected and Inuyasha grabbed his friends, then followed Sesshomaru to Rin.

"Papa!" Rin cheered when she saw him, then noticed Sakura in his arm. "What happened to Mama?" She asked, then noticed Inuyasha and the others.

"Hey Rin, can you help them?" Inuyasha asked. "They were poisoned." Shippo added, making Rin gasp.

"I can try, but I'm not as good as Mama." She said. "That's fine. If it works, Sakura will be well enough to take care of the rest." Sesshomaru told her, then they placed the humans on the ground side by side.
