I Need A Hero Vol 2 {Peter Quill}

Once back on the ship, Peter put on his Awesome Mix Vol 2. Lake Shore Drive by Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah played. While Gamora went to deal with Nebula, Gwen decided to give her parents a call. It's been two months since she last saw them. At first they weren't that welcoming of her and Peter's relationship but they soon changed their minds about him.

"Hi mom, hi dad" Gwen said as soon as her parents were on screen.

"Hello sweetheart. What have you done with your hair?" Gwen's mother, Ophelia asked. Gwen looked at her colored tips. It was a day they had off so Gamora and Gwen decided to have a girl's day. Gwen always loved how Gamora's hair was colored so they went to a salon so Gwen could get her hair done like Gamora's.

"What? Do you not like it?"

"Quite the opposite really. Maybe I should get mine done like that" Ophelia said

"How are the others, dear?" Gwen's father, Xavier asked.

"Everyone is fine. We just finished a job on the Sovereign" Gwen said. Ophelia and Xavier let out over dramatic gasps.

"Why on Kosmo would you even set foot there!?" Xavier said

"You know what those people think of us!" Ophelia said

"I know. It wasn't that fun for me. Well, defeating the Abilisk was fun but being in the same room as Ayesha wasn't. Anyways, there is something I have to tell you guys. It's something I haven't even told Peter, or the others for that matter. Gamora is the only other person who knows"

"What is it sweetheart?"

"Well, I'm pre---"

"Queen Ophelia and King Xavier!" Peter had joined Gwen. "How is my favorite king and my favorite queen doing?" Gwen noticed that her parents' mood suddenly shifted. Xavier was awkwardly averting his eyes elsewhere and Ophelia just stared with wide eyes.

"W-we're quite fine, P-Peter" Ophelia spoke.

"Mom, your cheeks look very pink, and dad, I don't even know what you're doing. Peter---" Gwen turned her head and saw that Peter wasn't wearing a shirt. That's why her parents were acting like they did. Now they probably thought her and Peter just had sex or something.

"Sweetheart, we'll call you later. You and Peter are obviously...umm...in the middle of something" Ophelia said. Their faces disappeared from the screen and Gwen gave Peter a 'really?' sort of look.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked

"My parent's thought we finished having sex" Gwen explained. Peter's hand made it around her waist. His other found the zipper of Gwen's jacket, and started to unzip it slowly.

"I mean we could---"

"You two disgust me" Drax spoke as he walked by. Peter gave him a glare as he walked by and Gwen just laughed.

"Moments gone" she said, zipping her jacket back up. Peter picked up a shirt and put it on. Gwen noticed something seemed to be troubling him. "You okay, my Star-Lord?"

"That stuff about my father. Who does she think she is?"

"Hey, at least she didn't call you a pathetic princess"

"You are anything but pathetic Gwen. You are a brave woman" Gamora said as she approached.

"Thanks Gamora. Anyways, I know your father is a sensitive subject Peter"

"I'm not sensitive about it. I just don't know who he is" Peter said. The alarm started going off. Everyone made their way to the bridge.
