Doomfist x reader pt 3:

a/n: IT'S THE FINALE. OOH WHAT'LL HAPPEN. Only I know now. Muah ha ha ha ha. I kid you, here's the story.

 I was still in Nigeria a month after Akande proposed, and I was still in shock. Our wedding was in 2 days and you know I was excited. I was with Abeni and Adedayo, watching an old Nigerian soap opera. They weren't actually that bad actually. Not like our American ones.(If you're not from america, just go with it, i'm sorry)

" Y/n, you actually like watching this mess?" Abeni asked.

"It's better than the ones at home."

"Well, to each their own I guess." she said as she  got up to check on her garden. Abeni grew melons and such. her garden was absolutely beautiful. I honestly didn't know where he was. Probably a mission with talon. Lately he'd been pretty reluctant to go on these missions. But talon kept threatening my life. I saw the threatening messages they'd send. Akande couldn't hide all of them. Even Sombra had given me a visit. She said it'd be a real shame if I disappeared and never came back one day. And I knew she didn't mean it. it was talon using her. But I knew my life was in danger. And I didn't care one bit.  I love him, and nothing is going to change that. 

 Anyway, I walked up to my room and noticed a slip of paper on the bed. Another threatening note saying that someone was watching me. I just crumpled the note and went downstairs to talk to Abeni. I needed to know something. Something... important.

"Abeni! Abeni!"

"Yes y/n?"

"Can I talk to you... In private."

"Sure y/n." she said as I walked down the stairs and outside.

"yes child?"

"Where's Akande's father?"

"Kalahime is... No longer with us." She said as she dipped her head down.

"Oh.. Well, I know how he feels." I said as I looked at the street.

"Oh?"

"My parents died in a drunk driver accident."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"it's fine. You and Adedayo have been like family to me."

"And in 2 days you will be family."

"I know. it's still kinda surreal."

"I am aware. Not even I knew he was going to ask. But I do have one question."

"Ask away."

"Do you plan on having any children?"

"I mean..." I said as I looked away.

"I maybe would want to have children. But Talon threatens me. I wouldn't want that for my children."

"That is a concern. I love your compassion. that's one of the things I like about you. You're a lovely person and what you do is fine. If only you could change Akande." She said with a smile as she went inside. If only I could.

  It was night now. Akande had just come home. Extremely tired may I add. He walked in, kissed each of us and went upstairs. I looked at adedayo and Abeni. They were confused too, so I followed him upstairs and walked into our room. Akande had taken off his shirt and revealed his many cuts and bruises. I gasped and he turned around.

"Akande! your bruised I whisper yelled as I went to find my 'Akande Aid Kit'. Yes he had his own first aid kit. It seems like he gets hurt every other night.

"Y/n, I didn't know you were here! I didn't hear you come in!" He said as he reached for his shirt.

"Akande, I've already seen the cuts, just let me treat them before they get infected." I said as I pulled his shirt away from him. We argued for a bit, and then he finally gave in and let me treat them.

"Y/n."

"Yes?"

"How do you still stay?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You see, A man like me has dated many women. And they were all threatened, and they all left. But you. You stayed with me. Even if Talon has threatened you time after time."

"I'm a very stubborn and dedicated woman. You needed help, so I helped you. And in that process, I fell for you." I said as I smiled at him.

"Then you are as great of a woman that i always thought you were."

"Thank you Akande. And you were always the man I thought you were."

*Timeskip*

   "Do you take this man as your husband?"

"I do."

"And do you take this woman as your wife?"

"I do."

"Now I pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." Abeni said as Akande kissed me. Abeni apparently was a licensed officiator. 

  A while later it was night time.

"Whoever would've thought that I'd be married to a beautiful, kind, lovely woman like you?"

"Who would've thought that i'd get married to a scumbag like you?" I joked.

We laughed for a bit and then fell asleep. 

I woke up to a gunshot and pain. I'd gotten out of the bed, and then fell over. When I looked down, I saw blood. Lots of Blood.

"Akande panicked and kissed me, telling me not to let go. But it was too late. My vision was fading and his words were mixing together. Then it all turned to black.

A/n: most unsatisfying ending ever right? Too bad it isn't the end...
