Soon the authorities arrived to the building as Doctor Ram was strapped onto a stretcher near an ambulance. Officer Jean DeWolff and Sergeant Stanley Carter along with their junior detectives Sun Wukong and Neptune Vasilias came to ask Team SVRN, Green Goblin, Kraven the Hunter, and Punisher what happened. "Remind me again why we have these two working in our police force?" asked Carter. DeWolff reminded, "They volunteered, Carter." Carter grumbled at that as DeWolff sighed and gave him a look.
Sun asked, "What did you see?" Nightingale answered, "We saw Doctor Maria Crawford mutated into a half-Bestial." Sun asked, "Bestial? What is a Bestial?" Ricochet replied, "Humanoid animal. Kinda like Mary Jane Watson." Nightingale nodded, "Except she looked more human and had animalistic characteristics."
Green Goblin said to Neptune, "I'll never what I saw, señor. She had long hair reaching down her back, glowing green eyes, and claws and fangs." Venus found something as she exclaimed, "Spidey, Sergei, I found something." They came to her as she went to a keyboard and clicked on one of the last entries Doctor Ram made. "Ram's log 1251. The Bestial serum for Faunus was a success. Now my master, the High Evolutionary wishes for the serum to be used on humans. I recommended a Doctor Maria Crawford for her expertise in genetics. A formidable partner for the Bestial Evolution. Unfortunately the Bestial serum for Faunus used up most of the symbiotic spores from the Venom symbiote. The spores I have now will until I can get my hands on another symbiote." Spider-Man said, "This could be evidence that Miranda Wilson was working for the High Evolutionary." Sergei nodded, "Yes, but it does not mention more about my lover." Venus responded, "There's another log in there." Sergei ordered, "Play it." Venus clicked on it as Doctor Ram's voice played out, "Ram's log 1252. Lord Tyger was successful in the capture of Doctor Maria Crawford. The DNA that my master wishes to splice her with is a hybrid of leopard, cheetah, and lion. The Bestial serum for humans is supposed to wipe away all ties to their former self and give way to a new identity. Much like Eddie Brock into Venom and Cletus Kasady into Carnage. Still we do not have the enough spores, but the High Evolutionary insists on the experiment. I can imagine things turning into the worse, but I cannot deny my master." Anger wasn't the first feeling on Sergei Kravinoff's mind. He seethed in Russian, "Etot bol'noy rogatyy ublyudok, kotoryy lechit moyego Kalipso, kak laboratornaya krysa!" Kraven stormed out of the laboratory with Spider-Man and Venus following him. He eventually made his way past the officers and medics who were checking on Doctor Ram. Kraven stopped in front of Doctor Ram and exploded, "You experimented on my lover, you sick horned son of a bitch!" Doctor Ram woke up to see the angry man and gave him a non caring look. Kraven gritted his teeth as Frank Castle Sr. asked, "Had enough?" Kraven exhaled and did not answer. Spider-Man said, "Look, Punisher's right. Beating up Ram isn't going to get Maria back. We'll find her." Punisher scoffed, "Actually, I would beat Ram into a pulp if he did that to my wife." Spider-Man sighed, "Not helping, Frank." Sergei nodded, "You're right. Let's focus more on finding Calypso. Let's get going."
The former Maria Crawford made it to the apartment of Sergei Kravinoff and Doctor Maria Crawford. The creature looked around the place for something to eat. It sniffed and went to the refrigerator. The scent was getting stronger as the creature wrenched the refrigerator door opened and threw it over its shoulder. It found two packs of pork ribs that was leftovers from Sergei and Maria's date at a Jungle Java restaurant. The scent made its mouth water as it grabbed the pork ribs and ate it. After the creature finished eating, it let out a belch. The creature leaped onto the counter and then to the dinner table leaving a mess behind. It found a picture of Sergei in his hunting gear and Maria in a exotic outfit in their date in the Jungle Java restaurant. The creature found a closet door and pulled it out as it smashed onto a wall. There was a chest with a lock in it. The creature pulled the lock off and opened it. The exotic outfit was in there as it the creature gave out a toothy smirk. The creature then suddenly shredded its clothes off, exposing its nude body as it started to put the outfit on.

Going to a mirror, whom it thought was a rival copying its movements started clawing at the mirror. All the commotion was keeping the neighbors awake and it was the middle of the night. "Hey, will you keep it down?" yelled an angry voice. "We're trying to sleep here!" The creature did not like the person's tone as it roared at him with ferocity. Then it jumped out of the window as leaped away into the night as the creature's roars echoed.
Team SVRN, Sergei, and Green Goblin went to the apartment Maria and Sergei lived in and found it to be a big mess. "Yep, she's been here," commented Ricochet. Venus frowned, "You think?"
