Chapter 48: The operation

 It was 6:29 pm and Mettaton and you were still waiting. Suddenly the nurse came out of the room and told you some news. - We finished studying your friend...the doctor said that her brain needs a medicine which is not easy to get...but he will try to make it before it is too late...- and you asked - And then why is there need to operate her?...- and the nurse responded - We need to inject her the medicine in an especific vein which we can't reach without opening her head...- and you reacted - Oh...ok...please take care of her...- and the nurse responded - Don't worry she is at good hands...- and then she went away in the hall. Mettaton said - What are you going to do?...- and you responded - I'll stay here until the operation finishes...- and Mettaton added - Ok, then I'm staying with you...- .

 A few minutes later the nurse came back with a lot of drugs in her hands, she came in the room. An hour passed, nothing. Another hour passed, nothing. And another one...until you heard the doctor say - Finally!. - . Two minutes later, the doctor and the nurse came out. The doctor said - I'm proud to say that the operation has been a success...now, Valentine needs to rest until tomorrow and Viola!...she will be as good as normal...- . When you heard the doctor say that, you hugged him and said thanks, he only answered with a smile. The doctor also said that you can't visit her, because she needs to rest at 100% and then he and the nurse left. Once the doctor and the nurse left, you and Mettaton decided to do the same.

 While coming out of the hospital, you and Mettaton felt strange. It was a mixture between concern and anxiety. You noticed that so you decided to take a tranquilizer pill as soon as you reach home. What you didn't notice...was that Sans was behind you...on the hospital front door. He stared at you and Mettaton with one glowing eye.
