"Mari, are you ready?" Starfire asked her daughter as she knocked on the door. "I shall be out in a minute." Mari shouted back. She heard her mother's footsteps fade away. Mari slipped into her shoulder off purple leotard with silver Tameranian head gear. The sleeves on her arm were baggy and on her hands were silver glove like metal.

Mari walked out the room and began walking down the corridor when Lian Harper, daughter of Speedy and Cheshire, came beside her. She gave a crooked smile,"Hey baby cake. Ready for the special day today? "She asked.

" What is the special occasion for this day?" Mari asked, confused. "We are getting a new member to the team. I heard he's a trouble maker so just watch out." Lian warned as we arrived in the common room.

The rest of the friends were there. Konnor, son of Cyborg and BumbleBee, was laughing at a joke Mark, son of Changeling and Raven, had made. On the couch was Carey, daughter of Cyborg and BumbleBee, and next to her was Melvin. In the kitchen was Timmy, Teether and Octavia and Barry, daughter and son of Jinx and Flash(formerly known as Kid Flash).

Rora, daughter of Changeling and Raven, was meditating with Raine(A/N: It's pronounced ray- knee)and Storm, daughter and son of Terra and Aqualad. The other titan children were at the academy.

"Is everyone here?" Starfire asked, her pure green eyes scanning the room. Everyone nodded,"Wonderful, Rora, do you mind opening a portal for us?" She asked. Rora stood up from her meditative stance and opened up a white portal. The children stepped through and arrived at The Young Justice Hall.

"Children, welcome to the Young Justice Hall." Starfire introduced as the young titans stared in awe. Starfire went to a plant and moved it aside. A scanner was attached to the wall,"Identify yourself." The scanner ordered in a robotic voice. "Kori'ander of Tameran number five two zero five." She spoke as a red light scanned her body and her eyes.

A secret door opened up revealing a large elevator,"Follow me."Starfire instructed as the awe struck children followed her in. The doors to the elevator closed and the machine spoke once more, "Insert destination."

"Training Hall." Starfire said and a white light transported them into a large room with bright lights and in the centre was white tiles. The other titan children as well as some kids that have superpowers were there.

"I guess we are all here. I'm Black Canary and I will be your instructor. Since we have you all here, I am going to put you into your team. Nightwing will read out." Black Canary instructed.

"Okay guys. Let's begin. In team one is Konnor Stone, Rora Logan, Mari Grayson and Mark Logan." The four friends grinned at each other and moved to one section of the room.

"In team two is Lian Harper, Barry West, Carey Stone, Raine Waters and Teether." Nightwing called,"In team three is Octavia West, Timmy, Melvin, Storm Waters and Julia Cunningham. "

Nightwing called out the rest of the teams and they were all organised. Arella raised her hand, "Yes Arella?" Nightwing answered, "Why are they only four of us when the other team has five or six members of the team?" She asked in a monotone voice.

"Well, that's why team one has a new member. Everyone, say hello to Damien Wayne." Nightwing introduced. A boy with dark hair, with bits of spikes slicked back of course, a black and white mask, long red top with long black sleeves, green gloves, black pants and a black and yellow cape.

He had a scowl as he made he's way to team one,"Hey man, what's up?" Mark greeted with a grin,"Don't talk to me." He growled, making Mark flinch and scuffle back to Konnor.

"Why is he frightening Mark?" Mari asked Rora,"He has deep emotions and is always angry." She answered. "I can hear you and I'm not angry so mind your business." Damien growled,"I can sense your emotions. "

This statement seemed to set him off,"You don't know anything about me so back off before I make you." He snapped. Rora got up in his face and stared into his eyes with a strong face,"Acting like a jerk can give someone the impression that you are one. I suggest you lay off the attitude before you face the wrath of a demon." Rora spat, her eyes glowing red for a split second.

Mari stepped in before someone got hurt, most likely Damien because Rora was a force to mess with. Mari stepped in between the two steamed titans and moved them apart,"Restrain yourselves. Rora, you are better that this." Mari soothed.

Rora's eyes turned back to purple orb and she pulled her hood up. Damien stepped back with huffed, his eyebrows bent. Mari put her arms around Rora and began walking away but stopped and tossed her head over her shoulder,"I hope your actions have satisfied you. Your first impression was really such a greeting." Was all she said before she walked away with Arella.

Everyone in the area was staring at him,"What are you staring at?!" He snapped. Everyone averted their eyes and Damien stormed away. Starfire flew after Damien and followed him down the hall,"Damien! Wait!" Starfire called.

Damien halted and turned to face the flamed haired beauty, "What?"He asked," I'm not entirely proud of the way you reacted to your new teammates. I think you should go apologised. "Starfire instructed.

" Whatever. "Damien mumbled turning around. Starfire put her hand on his shoulder," You're a good kid. Don't let anyone tell you less." Was all she said before she flew away.

Damien walked down the many corridors, seeking to find the hurt souls but gave up when he couldn't find them. He was about to leave when he heard voices. He walked towards the source and found Mari knocking on the door,"Rora, please come out." Mari pleaded.

Damien walked to Mari and she stared at him,"You have returned. What may I assist you with? "She asked, crossing her arms. Damien scratched the back of his neck," I just came to apologise for my rude behaviour. I was set off cause I was in a bad mood." He explained.

Mari uncrossed her arms and gave a small smile,"You are forgiven." She raised her fist and knocked on the door again, "Rora, Damien had come to make amends. May I enter?" Mari pleaded. The door opened slowly and revealed Rora.

"Uh, I'm sorry for the way I acted. It was uncool of me and I didn't mean to do so." Damien apologised. Rora gave a small nod,"It's fine. I'm going back to the Training Hall." She said. Mari pulled her into a quick hug before Rora walked away.

Mari gave Damien a megawatt smile,"May we start over? "She asked. Damien nodded and stuck out his hand," Hey I'm Damien." He introduced, "Hello Damien. My name is Mari'ander Grayson. Pleasure to meet your acquaintance." She greeted, giving him a dazzling smile.

"Same to you." He replied,"I must go to the Training hall. It was a pleasure conversating with you. Goodbye." She waved before flying away. Damien looked in the direction she flew of in,"This hero stuff might not be bad."
