Chapter 8 - Interval

Taiga's POV

After the long fight between Shoki and me, we went to a room where we are going to wait for 50 hours straight.

"This is a nice room, don't you think so, Killua?" I said still clinging on his arm.

"Will you let go? Stop clinging at me so much!" I can see that he was annoyed at my clingy and energetic personality. Maybe I should let out some innocence so the story wouldn't be boring for me.

"C'mon Killua, don't be like that! You're handsome face would get ruined!" I  said still hugging his arms.

"Ugh! Let go!" He kept saying it. Meanwhile Kurapika put his bag down and sat down. That's what Leorio did too.

"Yay! 50 hours of fun!!" I yelled in excitement.

"Aren't you supposed to be worried that we won't be able to make it if we wasted out time in here?"

"Oh my, Leorio. You'll get older if you always worry about things everytime. If you just relax then everything will feel more lighter and panicking wont happen"

"Because when you panic, you will never do anything right. Am I right or am I pretty?"

"Uh..." - Leorio

"Yeah, I agree... it's both"

"Yippie!" I jumped towards Kurapika and rode on his back. He almost lost his balance.

"Hihihi, am I heavy, Kurapika-pyon?" I said

"Kurapika what?!" - Leorio

"Let's go read books together!" I said pulling his

"You like books?" Killua asked

"Don't you? it's fun for me because its entertaining me." I smiled energetically at the silver haired boy that I loved the most. Yieehh <3 !!

"Nah, reading is boring." He gave me a bored look.

"Suit yourself. Let's go Kurapika!" I said cheerfully, leaving Killua behind. Eventually he went to Gon and played with him for a couple of minutes.

We read for like 40 minutes. I'm reading in my phone while Kurapika is reading the books in the bookshelf.

While Killua was teaching Gon how to use the skateboard.

Kurapika's POV

We're still shocked about what Taiga did in her fight. It was unbelievable. I haven't seen anything like that before. It sent chills ran down my spine.

Now I feel uncomfortable around her. Taiga has a scary ability, unlike Killua who has an excuse about cutting his enemy's heart out. Taiga is an innocent girl but what worries me is that she acts like she is very delicate but when she really needs to show it, she will and nothing's going to stop her. At least that's what I can see and observe from her actions.

"Kurapika?"Her words snapped me back into reality.

"Can we eat something? I'm starving, I haven't eaten for days. I believe you haven't had any bite too, right?"

"Yes, but I don't have any food with me."

"Gon, do you have some bread with you that we can eat? Kurapika and I are starving."

"I think I have, I packed up my things myself so I might have brought some fruits and bread with me"

"Yes! I have only eaten eggs since the start of the exam and I really need real food!" Leorio suddenly woke up hearing that Gon has foods.

"Hey! We asked first so we will have the first bite Leorio!" Taiga shouted

"Jeez, people really don't have respect nowadays! Didn't your parents taught you to call your elders, mister or onii chan at least?"
