Abuto seemed happy enough that the useless lump wouldn't be distracting them anymore; he gave permission for her to take him without her even asking,

She walked over to the captain and vice captain and was about to request to go somewhere with him when Abuto interjected, "Take him." He sounded pleading.

He was effectively begging her.

Now she walked down the streets of a somewhat lively city next to her captain who surprisingly hadn't been hit on yet. Gawked at? Yes. She had noticed some change within him though, his eyes weren't as hard as before and his creepy trademark smile from before seemed to be worn less and less. Maybe the fight and everything from Earth was finally kicking in. Even if it was quite a few weeks ago.

She had heard about a small problem arising though; after being cast from the Harusame, they were no longer being funded by them either and so money was becoming an issue. So were Abuto's breakdowns.

So she was admittedly searching for an easy job to undertake that payed a fair amount.

"What are you doing wandering around without guards, princess?" An exasperated voice called out from behind her, confused, she turned around only to be dragged away by this random guy. She could tell Kamui was not okay with that but a simple look from Momo had him restrain himself. "Why are you hanging around such a hoodlum? And wearing such clothing? Princess the ball is in less than an hour." This guy seemed like the typical butler of a spoiled troublemaker royal.

"Sorry..." Momo apologised despite having no idea what was happening, "Might I ask as to what this party is?" She was clueless and the butler didn't appreciate her ignorance.

"Did you forget your own birthday?" He huffed, when as a matter of fact, yes. Yes she did forget her birthday. She might have remembered some stuff but her head was still a little cloudy on some things.

Momo seemed to think it was a good opportunity. Go there, steal the presents and make money, leave; they were pirates after all. "No, just checking if anyone bothered to remember." Acting stuck up was about as royal as she can get.

On the other side of town, Kamui walked around aimlessly for a while; since his partner had just been willingly kidnapped by an attractive guy in a suit... The more he thought about it the angrier he got. Then he ran into a girl. At first he thought it was Momo, then glancing at her clothing again he realised she wasn't, she had a flat chest. She fell on the floor after bumping him too. Not Momo.

She had on a white, muddy dress that was ripped in places; her hair was done up but was in a mess. This girl must have been who that butler guy really wanted. She looked up at the man she'd just ran into with wet eyes and a frown. He asked her who she was, at first she was surprised as she was essentially a princess, everyone here knew her... Because she was attractive.

"I am Chizuru, princess of this country. I could fine you for harming me." She stated in her posh voice and sounded really pompous for someone who fell after running at him. He just stared down at her and said, "I could kill you and no one will know."

Then she began edging away and whimpering. As if he'd kill her now, she was his only ticket to find Momo. "But you're actually pretty useful right now. If you don't annoy me by the end I'll consider not killing you. So tell me, if someone, say a butler, were to take you away today, where would he take you and why?"

She looked baffled for a second, he took a step closer as a warning; she squeaked and backed away further spitting out, "I-I-It's my birthday! H-He'd probably... Take me to the ballroom in the palace! It's where the p-party is taking place, you can't get in w-without an invitation though!" She stuttered, tears falling down her cheeks. She didn't want to be killed by someone without a weapon, he had an umbrella and his fists so bludgeoning was the only way right?

"Hm? That big place up there huh? Well we can just sneak in. Take me there." He ordered her. For a princess she was supposed to be the one giving the orders, not the one taking them.

At the palace, Momo was being made up like crazy. She was almost bound to a chair as over 5 handmaidens leant over and began playing with her hair and face, applying powders and other substances to her face and decorating her hair with ornaments.

Then she was unwillingly stripped and dumped in a dress, they didn't seem to notice the scar on her back; they were busy at the front wondering why their princess's bust size suddenly increased.

In the end, she was surprised at how she looked; she was almost another person. After all of the compliments from the maids and who she guessed to be her 'father', she made it to the hall - a colossal size larger than expected - packed full of strangers. She didn't know anyone's name and sought to just focus on the money. She was sounding like a corrupt government official.

Her butler, or whoever the princess was's butler, lead her down the stairs where she was met with a gang of people surrounding her, starting idle conversation for no reason. Thankfully, butler rescued her.

He talked her through how the night was supposed to go, Momo was apparently supposed to improve relationships with people in spite of it being her birthday party... Princesses have it tough.

In some random hallway in the building, Kamui couldn't get the actually princess to stop whining. She had dragged him some ways to a room full of fancy clothing, she then forced him to change and made him wait while she changed, under the pretense of fitting in with everyone. He didn't care he just wanted Momo to return with him and not be touched by any butlers again.

Although, the girl did guide him to the hall where all the bustle was. He had no idea how to find her in such a crowd; better rely on his keen instincts.

Then she was taken to a man, taller than her and unmistakably attractive. A brother maybe? Unfortunately not.

Her guess was blown right from her head as he leant down, more than likely to kiss her. She dodged quickly, not wanting to explain that to her captain. The man seemed confused but Momo ignored him and discreetly gestured to the crowd of people, some of whom watching. He sighed and grabbed her hand, tugging her toward a family. She would have ripped his hand off but that may leave an impression, just think of the money.

It's a shame that money cannot explain her situation. From where he stood, the guy kissed her and then dragged her somewhere with him. Kamui was fuming of course, first the butler and now some brown haired hot guy comes and touches her without consent...

The princess was just as peeved, "Who was that fake!? That ugly imitation just kissed my boyfriend and made off with him!"

Funny how even though they're standing at the same distance and angle from the incident, they both interpret it completely different.

"Shut up, don't talk about Momo like that or I'll seriously kill you." He glared sharply at the princess who pouted annoyed. Truth be told, he just didn't want to think badly of her; although the idea did cross his mind. But no matter what she said, it was plainly obvious that the guy was dragging her and initiated the 'kiss' -that never happened.

Momo was seriously getting tired of this guy's attitude. He was bragging about himself constantly, she had to hold in bile more than once.
