I look around sharply until I see his ocean teal colored hair. I growled. "You." He moved closer to the trolls but, remained unseen from them. He was jumping from tree trunk to tree trunk. Suddenly the harmony of little bells was heard. "Hug time!" All the trolls said cheerfully and ran in different directions. Once they hugged Creek stopped moving. The expression on his face was the look of guilt, he looked sad. But I wasn't gonna fall for that. About 3 minutes later he started to slip deeper into the woods. "Follow him." Branch said taking the binoculars from me and shoving them in his backpack. Branch ran to the edge of the north tree and I followed. He grabbed my hand tightly. I gasped and then he jumped, pulling me with him. I yanked him closer to me and he wrapped his arm tightly around me. Then he whipped his head back and the forward. His black hair grew and latched onto a different tree branch securing our landing. We swung fast and landed safely. "C'mon he's getting away!" Branch said and grabbed my hand once more. He sprinted and I tried to keep up. Finally I started running in sync with him. "Can't he hear us?" I whispered. "He's too busy trying to stay hidden." Branch said quietly and continued running.
Time skip
We've been chasing after Creek for about 5 minutes straight now. Our surroundings started to fade of color. Well the color I was used to, these colors looked greyer than me and Branch. It was sour and cold. Branch held his arm out and stopped me. I looked around and then at him. Branch gave me a signal to remain silent and for me to follow. I did and we peeked through the bushes. Creek was seated next to a picture of all the trolls in the troll village. Even me and Branch were up there on his little shrine.
