(A/N)- 6K READS?!  You guys really are the best!  I love you all!

--Gladion's POV--

I woke up on the couch next to (Y/N). I  got up, and ran upstairs, putting my clothes on.  I heard the door open, and (Y/N) walked in, wearing her robe.  She rubbed her eyes.  "Morning Gladion..."  She hugged me, and I smiled.  "Good morning babe."

--Your POV--

Did Gladion just call me babe?!  I chuckled, and let go of him.  I walked over to my dresser, and pulled out some clothes.  I changed into them, and freshened up.  I heard a knock at the front door.  "Gladion?  Are you expecting anyone?"  I said, poking my head out of the bathroom.  "Uh, no..."  "I wonder who it i-"  I was interrupted by a blue light surrounding my window, opening it.  "That's... Psychic!"  Gladion said, as we rushed over to the window.  We looked down, and saw Hau, standing next to his Raichu.  "Hey guys!  How are you?  Can I talk to you?"  He yelled and waved.  "Yeah!  We'll be right down!"  I ran downstairs, Gladion following me.  I opened the door, and Midnight and Ninetales perked their ears up.  They had been sleeping in their Pokebeds.  I walked outside, and saw Hau calling Raichu back.  I high fived him.  "How are you?  I haven't seen you in such a long time!"  He hugged me, but I felt Gladion staring at him.  Hau quickly let go, and rubbed the back of his head.

"Oh yeah, right, sorry 'bout that... heh heh..."  Gladion walked up behind me, and put an arm around me.  "Why are you here?  Don't you have better things to do, like eating Malasadas?"  Gladion rolled his eyes.  "Oh yeah!  So, there's a really cool place on Poni Island called the Battle Tree!  It's a place where really strong trainers fight to be the top trainer!"  My eyes widened "The Battle Tree?"  "Yeah!  It's got 2 really strong trainers from Kanto that are it's leaders!"  I walked closer to Hau.  "Did you say Kanto?"  "Yeah!"  A sudden wave of realization flowed over Hau.  "Wait, you're from Kanto right?  Maybe you know them!"  "Maybe..."  I turned to Gladion and smiled.  "Oh no, no no no... don't use those eyes on me!"  I whimpered, and Gladion sighed.  "Oh, alright... let's go grab our Pokemon."  Gladion walked back inside, and I waved goodbye to Hau.  Hau smiled and walked away.  I closed the door, and walked upstairs, feeling around on the wooden floor of my room.

"Ah-hah!"  I smiled as I found the loose floorboard.  I peeled it up, and found my special key.  I smiled and grabbed it, heading over to my dresser.  I unlocked the one drawer that's always locked.  I opened it, and saw all my Pokeballs.  There were at least 10.  I put my hand on my chin, thinking.  Of course, I grabbed Nebby and Null's Pokeball.  8 left, and I still need 4 more Pokemon... I heard Gladion walk up behind me.  "Need help choosing?"  "Yeah..."  Gladion grabbed a random Pokeball.  "How about this one?"  "I forgot who's in that one..."  I grabbed it, and sent out the Pokemon.  It was my first Pokemon... "Charizard!"  It roared in happiness, as I hugged it.  "A Charizard?  How did you get that?"  "Well..."

--Flashback time!--

"Today's the day!"  I fixed my hat, "Today is the day I become a Pokemon Trainer!"  I jumped up and down.  "(Y/N)!  Come downstairs!  All your friends are here!"  "Coming!"  I grabbed my backpack, slinging it on my back.  I ran out, and slammed into the railing, bouncing back.  I fell down the stairs, and landed on my face.  All my friends laughed, and I looked up, and joined them in laughing.  My friend group consisted of Red, a boy named Sun, and a girl named Moon.  Blue burst in the door, panting.  "I'm sorry I'm late (Y/N)!"  "Well well, you finally decided to show up."  Red crossed his arms, looking at Blue.  "Look, I'm sorry if gramps needed my help setting up for the new trainers!"  Blue turned around.  "Would you two stop fighting?!  This day is special to the three of us!"  Sun hugged me and Moon.

"Right... sorry!"  Blue and Red bowed in apology.  Moon laughed "Alright you guys!  Let's go get our Pokemon!"  She grabbed me and Sun's hands, dragging us outside.  Red and Blue followed, as we ran towards the Professor's lab.  When we got there, we saw a huge crowd, with Professor Oak trying to calm them down.  "Now, now.  You all will get your Pokemon, but there's a special group I want to give them to first."  He looked in our direction, and saw us running over.  "As a matter of fact, here they come!"  We ran up, panting.  "Sorry we're late!"  I said, smiling nervously.  "Are they ready?"  Sun asked, excitedly.  "Yes.  Follow me."  We walked up the path to the lab, and the doors opened.  All the workers were busy preparing for the rest of the new trainers.  We went up to two doors, and they slid open, revealing a room with three Pokeballs on a table underneath a light.

I smiled when I saw them, and ran up to the table.  Sun and Moon followed, standing next to me.  Red and Blue stood behind us, with their hands in their pockets.  "(Y/N), you can pick first!"  Sun said, with his hands behind his head.  Moon nodded and smiled.  "OK..."   I stepped closer to the table, looking at the three Pokeballs.  "Right, (Y/N), which Pokemon will you pick?"  The lights turned off, and one light shone on one Pokeball.  "Will you pick..."  Squirtle appeared on the screen, "The water Pokemon, Squirtle,"  The light moved to another Pokeball. "The fire Pokemon, Charmander,"  The light moved to the last one, "Or the plant Pokemon, Bulbasaur."  "Hmmm, it's a tough decision, but I'm gonna go with Charmander!"  I said, grabbing the Pokeball.  "In that case, I'll take Squirtle!"  Moon said, grabbing the Pokeball.  "I'll pick Bulbasuar!"  Sun said, grabbing the last Pokeball.  We all sent out our new Pokemon, and hugged them.  Professor Oak handed us our Pokedexes.  "Alright kids.  Your journey now rests in your hands."

--end flashback--

Me and Gladion were sitting on the bed.  "Wow, that was quite the story."  He patted Charizard.  It roared in happiness.  I chuckled and got up, walking back over to the drawer.  "I know who else I'm gonna pick."  I grabbed Decidueye's Pokeball, and Arcanine's.  "But, you still need one more Pokemon..."  Gladion said, walking over to me.  I grabbed a special Ultra Ball that was in a case at the back.  I opened it, and it was empty.  I smiled, but Gladion looked at me, worried.  "Uhm... (Y/N)... It's empty..."  "Oh, I know!"  I giggled and walked over to Ninetales.  "Ninetales, I need you help fighting at the battle tree, what do you say?"  He barked in agreement, and I called him into his Pokeball.  "Oh, so that was Ninetales' Pokeball?"  "Yeah!  I keep it safe in the back."  I smiled and called Charizard back.  I walked out of my room, and motioned for Gladion and Midnight to follow.

We walked outside, and I called my ride Charizard, and we were off.

--Time skip--

We landed in front of the battle tree.  There were some trainers there, but nothing that I couldn't handle.  As me and Gladion started walking, I noticed that midnight wasn't following.  It seemed... scared.  Just then, a Bewear leaped out at us.  I screamed and fell backwards, landing on my butt in the dirt.  It tried to fire an attack, but just then, Midnight jumped in front of me, and used Dark Pulse.  It sent the Pokemon flying.  I got up, petting Midnight, "Good job buddy."  It squealed in happiness, and we kept going.

Soon enough, we reached the Battle Tree.  I saw two very familiar faces.  My eyes lit up, "Blue!  Red!"
