Scaredy Eevee

--Gladion's POV--

Me and (Y/N) walked downstairs, to see Lillie and Hau standing there in shock.  Everyone else must've followed Ilima, cause they weren't there anymore.  "Uh, Gladion.  Care to explain why Ilima ran out with a black eye?"  Lillie approached me, hands on her hips.  "Uhm, he was kissing (Y/N), and she was crying."  (Y/N)'s eyes were still red.  "And why did you hurt him?"  Lillie looked mad.  "I wanted... t-to protect her..."  I said, rubbing (Y/N)'s back.  Lillie sighed "Well ok, but we have some important business to do, me and (Y/N)."  Lillie said, grabbing (Y/N).  "Like what?"  "Getting the Sun Flute.  Acerola told me where it is, and we have to go to Poni Island as soon as possible."  Lillie grabbed the bag that had Nebby in it.  "O-Ok, I'll go get my bag."  (Y/N) walked upstairs. 

"Well what about me and Gladion?"  Hau chimed in.  "You guys are coming with.  If something happens, we need you two."  Lillie said, putting on the backpack.  (Y/N) walked down the stairs, her Eevee on her shoulder and her bag on the other.  "Me and Eevee are ready to go!"  She was wearing a floral shirt with black shorts and sunglasses on her head.  "Great!  Let's go then!"

--Time skip--

--Your POV--

We made it to the docks at the paradise.  The rest of the gang jumped on the boat, but I stopped.  Eevee was cowering behind me, to scared to jump onto the boat.  "Uhm, guys, I think Eevee's scared..."  I said, bending down and petting the fuzzy Pokemon.  "That's not a problem!" Lillie said.  "I got this."  Gladion bent down, and opened his arms.  "C'mon Eevee, it's ok... the boat's not gonna hurt you."  Without warning, Eevee jumped into Gladion's arms, and let out a cry of happiness.  "Wow Gladion, that was amazing!"  I said, jumping onto the boat.  

"Where to Young Master?"  The captain asked Gladion.  He put Eevee down.  "Poni Island please."  "Very well, but I hope you know that it will be a 5 hour trip."  The captain started the engine.  "That will be fine."  We sat down, and Eevee curled up next to me.  I looked over at Gladion, who was watching the waves as we parted from Aether Paradise.  "Hey Gladion, you ok?"  I asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.  He looked at me "Yeah, I'm fine, I just can't beleive that Ilima would do that.  I thought he was  better."  He frowned.  "I thought so too, guess we were both wrong!"  I said, nervously chuckling.  "How can I make up to you?"  I asked, resting my head on his shoulder.  "What do you mean?"  "Well, I just thought that you saw that, I need to do something to make it up to you... ya know, about kissing Ilima."  "It's not your fault, that weasel slipped right under our noses."  Gladion's hand was now in a fist, shaking.  I grabbed his hand.  "When we get there, I'm gonna take you to a resturaunt I read about on my phone.  After that, we can do what you wanna do."  I said, kissing his cheek.  

"Yeah, that'd be nice, thanks."  He kissed my cheek.  "Good."  I said, yawning.  "You know, if you're tired, we can go to the bedroom..."  Gladion blushed.  "Wait, this thing has a bedroom?!"  I jumped up, waking Eevee.  "Yeah, this IS my private boat after all..." He said, stroking Eevee.  "Well where's Lillie and Hau?"  I asked, picking up Eevee.  "Probably in the other bedroom."

--Gladion's POV-- 

Without warning, (Y/N) collapsed on my lap.  "Can we stay out here longer?  I wanna look at the stars..."  She said, pointing at the sky.  "Don't worry, the bedroom has a skylight right above the bed."  I said, picking (Y/N) up, princess style.  "Oooooh, how romantic..."  (Y/N) hugged me, and I carried her to the bedroom, with Eevee following, making happy sounds.
