Chapter 5: We're Working At A Maid Cafe!?

Your POV
It was a Friday night and I decided that Saitama and I needed to get jobs. I seriously do not know how we even have money to pay for groceries and stuff like that. I took a newspaper that was left on the welcome mat of our apartment and looked for places hiring. There was a few places, mostly business related things. The only other choices were restaurants, cafes, and fast food places. Restaurants are always busy and I don't think that Saitama and I will be able to handle that. And fast food places are usually dirty and filled with germs, and it doesn't pay much. I guess working at a cafe is pretty cool. Plus, I love sweets and maybe the workers get a discount on the pastries! I'll have to talk with Saitama and do a little research about this cafe.

Time skip

Your POV
"Hey, Saitama. I was wondering if you and me would like to get jobs at this cafe. And before you say anything, it pays 5 dollars per hour and we really need the money."

Saitama's POV
"Working at a cafe?" I thought about it for a few seconds and then made my mind. "Eh, I guess that could be fun. And you're right about the money thing. So, when do we start working?"

Your POV
"Well, we need to apply first and then we'll know when we start work." "Okay." Saitama and I then apply for the jobs at the cafe. About an hour later I got a phone call saying that we were hired! We'll start work tomorrow. I then tell Saitama that we'll work tomorrow and that we have to be there by 8:30.

Time skip to tomorrow

Saitama and I woke up early and walked to the cafe since we didn't have a car and because it's close by. When I got there a girl wearing a pastel maid outfit greeted us. "Hello, my name is Sierra. (lmao I added myself in the story) How may I help you two today?" "Well, my name's Y/N and this is Saitama. We're here for the maid and butler occupations." "Oh, okay follow me then." Sierra tells us to follow her. She led us to a room where there is a bunch of butler and maid outfits. Saitama nudges my arm and says, "You never told me that this was a MAID cafe!" "You never asked." "Y/N, I'm not going to work at a stupid maid cafe and wear a stupid butler outfit." "Oh come on Saitama. We really need he money and you know it. Plus you're not alone here. I'll be working with you and we can make some new friends here as well." "Ugh... fine" "Over there is the butler outfits and over there are the maid outfits." Sierra points to two racks with the outfits on them. "And over there," Sierra points to a door that says changing rooms,"is the changing area. You're welcome to pick out what ever outfit that you want, but if it gets dirty it's your responsibility to clean it." "Okay, thanks, Sierra." "No problem. If you have any questions about anything then just ask me. After you get changed just take a notepad and a pen from the counter and take people's orders." "Okay. Thanks again for your help." "Like I said it's no problem. You two should get changed now. I'll be at the counter if you need anything." Sierra leaves the room and I look at the maid outfits while Saitama looks at the butler ones.

I decide to choose (picture) because I thought it was the best. I went into the changing room to change and when I came out Saitama was still looking for a butler outfit. After a while, Saitama finally notices that I'm standing near him, ready to work. He just keeps staring at me for a while. "Hey, Saitama. Snap out of it." I wave my hand in front of his face. "Huh? What? Oh, sorry. I spaced out for a bit."

Saitama's POV

I was staring at Y/N in the maid outfit. I was too busy focusing on looking at her to notice that she was calling my name. "I still can't find a butler outfit that looks good..." I said to Y/N. "Hmm." She says while looking around. "How about this one?" Y/N says while holding up a butler outfit. "Hm. I guess that one looks good." I leave to try it on.

I come back about 10 minutes later with the butler outfit on. I seriously don't want to wear or work here, but Y/N and I need the money. I noticed her standing near Sierra. They were both talking about who knows what. "Oh! Saitama are you ready to work now?" Sierra asks me. "Uh, sure. Where do I start?" "Just look around the tables and see who needs to be served." "Okay." Y/N and I say in unison.

Your POV

Saitama and I walk authentic cafe and then look for a table that needs serving. A woman walks up to us and points to a table and Saitama goes there to serve them and then the woman points to another table that I will be serving. I walk over there and the person sitting at the table is...

GENOS!?!? I walk up to his table and greet him. "Hey, Genos." "Y/N? What are you doing here?" He asks me. "Me? I should say the same thing to you. I work here now." "You do?" Genos questions me. "Yeah. Saitama works here too now. We really needed the money and this was the best paying job that we could agree on. Anyways, what would you like to eat today?" I asked Genos finally starting my job.

Genos' s POV

Y/N works at this maid cafe with Saitama now and Y/N looks adorable in her maid outfit. I'm definitely coming here more often. "May I please have some strawberry cake with a sandwich and chocolate milk?" "Coming right up Genos!" Y/N smiles at me and walks away. About 10 minutes later she comes back with my food. "Thank you, Y/N." I smile at her. "No problem, Genos! Enjoy!"

Your POV

I walk away from Genos's table and I notice him eating everything all at once. And I also notice Saitama watching Genos eat his food. (I don't own the picture)

Guess he's hungry too. Just as I thought that my stomach starts to growl. I should ask Sierra when it's break time. I walk up to her and ask. "Sierra? I was just wondering, when is it time for my break?" "Your break? It's actually right now!" She says as she looks at her phone to check the time. "Wow, really?" "Yup! It's also Saitama's break too so why don't you go grab him and then follow me to the break room." "Okay." I go get Saitama and tell him that it's time for our break. We follow Sierra to the break room and it's amazing! There was a T.V, video games, and even accessories to complement the maid and butler outfits. I walked around the room and went over to the accessories. I picked up a bow to match my outfit and put it in my hair. After that I watch some T.V and played a few games with Saitama for about 21 minutes, but then we heard a loud crash coming from outside and we both ran outside to see what was going on. We looked outside and we saw Genos fighting what's his face? That ninja guy who was really hot... Sonic! Saitama and I ran outside with Genos and then Sonic looked at me. "YOU!" He said while pointing at me. "You're coming with me!" "Huh, what!?" Before I know it, I'm picked up off of my feet and suddenly miles and miles away from Genos and Saitama...
