Chapter 1: Something New

Your POV

*sigh*... Another boring day. Saitama just saved another city from destruction. Well, sort of. A giant man and his brother did most of the damage. Saitama punched him so hard, that he fell on City B! They were trying to take over the world. Same thing happened last week actually. This stuff happens all the time. Nothing new to me. I wonder when something new will happen... Hm...

"Hey Y/N! Help me out! There's a mosquito after me!" "Geez Saitama, you can kill monsters with one punch, but you can't kill a mosquito with one slap?" I say to Saitama as I walk up to him. "No, no, no, no, no! I swear I killed it! There must be more!" *buzzzzzzz* "..." "Huh? What is it?" I asked Saitama, but before I got an answer, he ran out the door! I followed after him on my motorbike since I don't have incredible inhuman speed. I'm fine with that because I think my motorbike is pretty cool. Anyways, I chased after Saitama, and by the time I caught up to him he was... Naked?

"Oh hey Y/N." Saitama said as he walked up to me. "Uh..." I hid my face because I didn't want to see him... Um.. Well you know... "You need to evacuate now! It isn't safe here!" "Huh?" I peaked through my hands to see a blonde... Cyborg? Well I think he's a cyborg. "Nah, I got this." Saitama says just before he slaps a mosquito girl. "Ha! See I told you I could slap a mosquito!" "Saitama please put on some pants!" I say as I cover my eyes again. "Oh yeah. We should head home so I can put something on." "WAIT!" The blonde cyborg says. "Hm?" "I AM A LONE CYBORG FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE! I AM CALLED GENOS!" "So loud..." I say as I start my motorbike. "TELL ME YOUR NAME!" "Huh? It's Saitama." "TAKE ME AS YOUR DISCIPLE!" "Oh... Okay... Wait what?"

A week has passed since the whole mosquito girl accident and Saitama and I were just doing the usual. Absolutely nothing. Well, that was until we got a knock on the door. We barely get those. Saitama opened the door and that weird cyborg guy was there.

"MASTER!" "You seriously came? Um, your name was..." "It is Genos Master Saitama!" "Would you stop calling me master?" Saitama says as he lets Genos in" "Sensei!" "Don't call me that either." Man Saitama seems annoyed by this guy. "So uh, what's he doing here?" I say as I'm eating a lollipop. "I want to be Master Saitama's disciple! I wish to be as strong as him!" "Oh cool. Want one?" I say as I hand Genos a lollipop. "No thank you. As my body is mostly made up of machinery, it is unnecessary for me to eat. But thank you for the offer." "Oh uh, no problem?" I say as I'm a little confused on why he's mostly a cyborg. "Drink up and then leave." Saitama says as he places two cups of tea on the table. "I do not need to, but I will if Master made this! Maybe it will make me stronger!" Genos says as he drinks up all of the tea. "Your weird." Wow Saitama, way to just put that out there. "What kind of parts do you use master?" Genos asks Saitama. "I don't use any!" "What about that skin colored armor on your head?" Genos says as he points as Saitama's head. I'm about to choke on my lollipop after that one! "That's skin." Saitama says with no emotion. "Impossible. That would mean that you went bald young, but..." "I AM BALD! SO SHUT UP! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!?" Saitama yelled at Genos for talking about his baldness. "Me? You wish to know about me?" Geez... I'm just sitting here, eating candy, and listening to boring crap that has nothing to do with me. "Uh no." And now Saitama will learn the biggest mistake of his life: Asking Genos about himself. Genos basally gave his whole life story just now. I look at Saitama's face and he looks like he's about to blow. "KNOCK IT OFF! SHORTEN THAT TO TWENTY WORDS OR LESS! AND TRY AGAIN!" Yup... He blew.

"Mosquito Girl was defeated?" "Well, without sucking blood, she was just a weak insect." "She was merely a prototype." "About that... She was defeated even after absorbing large quantities of blood... And by one punch." "A small tracking camera captured some of the encounter. Here it is" "Why is he naked?" "I don't know." "He will serve as a good sample. We will investigate his physiology- by force is necessary." "Send a messenger to invite him to our House of Evolution." "Understood."

Your POV

"Master. Here's the shortened version. Teach me the way to become strong like you!" "... Y/N." "Yes?" "I need to talk to you in private." "Oh, uh okay?" You and Saitama go to the kitchen. "Do you really think I should do this?" "Well yeah! Just think of it like... He's your sidekick! Every hero needs one." "But aren't you kinda like my sidekick?" "What!? No!! I'm not even a hero, and I don't have any powers so I wouldn't be much use..." "... *sigh* Fine... I'll take him as my apprentice." "Okay then, I'll even help you train him like I did with you! It'll be fun! Finally something new is happening!" Both of you head back to Genos. "Hmm. Genos." "Yes!" "How old are you?" "I'm 19!" "You're young. You could possibly surpass him." I say as I look at Genos. "Really!?" "I'm 25 and Y/N is 21. We started training when I was 22 and Y/N at age 18." "Wait, since Miss Y/N started to train with you, does this mean she possesses such great power too!?" "Uh, no." "I just coached Saitama and helped him with his training. I didn't do any of the actual physical training." "Oh. I see." "Do you think you can handle it Genos?" Saitama asked while giving him a serious glare. "YES!"

Just after Genos answered, he detected something coming at high speed. "Woah! What's that thing!?" I say as a giant bug creature crashes through the roof. "KEH, KEH, HEH! MY NAME IS-" Before the monster could finish what he was saying, Saitama punched him. "Pay for the ceiling!" "There are more outside." Genos said while looking out the window. I looked out the window myself and saw a frog monster and a slug monster. Well I think it was a slug. Honestly they are both disgusting. "Our advance warrior Kamakyuri is dead." Said the slug monster. "Huh? But wasn't he one of our stronger guys?" The frog monster replied to him. We all went outside to put a stop to it. "Master let me handle th- nevermind." Genos was going to stop them until Saitama smashed them into the ground. "You ruined my ceiling!" Then out of nowhere, Saitama was pulled into the ground just like he did to those monsters. "Wha-!?" "M-Master!" Genos was running up to Saitama. "I feel like a plant..." "Man, Saitama is such an idiot sometimes..." I say to myself. I don't have much to protect myself with because I always rely on Saitama for help. I have a pocketknife, but that's all. While Genos was running, he suddenly stopped. A giant cyborg blocked his path. "YOU ARE NOT MY TARGET!" The cyborg said with a robotic voice. "YOU ARE IN MY WAY!" He finished saying. "I want to ask you a few things!" Genos said before he fought the cyborg.

'Wait a minute.' You thought to yourself. 'Is Saitama seriously sleeping right now?' Then a weird lion thing went up to Saitama. "HEY JERKO!" The Beast King said. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR FACE?" Saitama just yawned. "WHAT!? WHY YOU...!" "It's comfortably cool yet warm down here." 'Really Saitama...' "I got sleepy so lemme me be, would ya?" The Beast King just laughed. "I DON'T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION!" He said. "I'LL PIERCE BOTH YOUR EYES SO YOU CAN'T RESIST!" "Okay enough with the jokes. Now's the time if you wanna apologize." Saitama said while stepping out of the ground. "He- HE GOT OUT!?" Ground Demon said. "Hold on i got dirt in my belt." "... You done yet...?" "Almost... Okay there." "I'LL SHOW YOU THE POWER OF THE BEAST KING! LION SLASH!" He said as he grew bigger. "Wow." I said to myself as I watched all of this happen. "OUT OF MY WAY WEAKLINGS!" The Beast King said as he killed his own allies. "HEY!" I yelled at him. "YOU CAN'T JUST KILL YOUR OWN ALLIES LIKE THAT YOU JERK! THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR AND YOU KNOW IT!" "DO YOU WANNA DIE TOO!? WELL YOU'RE NEXT LADY!" Next thing I know, I'm being chased by this guy. "LION SLASH: METEOR POWER SHOWER!" "NOPE!" I ran behind Saitama and then he punched the Beast King. "CONSECUTIVE NORMAL PUNCHES!" "..." Ground Demon stared at Saitama, then dug a hole to escape. "I N-NEVER HEARD ABOUT THAT! I'M GETTING OUT OF HERE!" Just as he said that, Saitama found him. "Found you!" "NO WAY!" Well you know what happens. That monster was punched.

"Phew... Hey you alright?" Saitama asked me. "Yeah I'm fine... Where's Genos?" "I think I see him over there." We both walk over to Genos. "Answer my questions or die. You choose." Genos was aiming his weird blaster hand at this... Cyborg gorilla? "You are the one who will die, fool. I am the House of Evolution's third strongest. You will never beat the Beast King! He is the second strongest! He will destroy you!" The cyborg gorilla said. "You mean this guy?" I said while Saitama held the Beast King's eyeball. "I think he does." Genos replied. "... Um sorry about all that. I'll tell you everything, so go easy on me!" "Hey you're talking normal now!" Saitama and I both said at the same time. "Sorry. I was just trying to sound cool."
