Chapter 48 - Kentarou's Ending

Kentarou's first impression on you was total hatred. He didn't know why exactly there was a girl on the boys volleyball team. At first glance, he thought girls in volleyball seemed weak. But when he saw you play and practice, his thoughts changed. Their was something that he liked about you too. During the match with Aoba Josai and Karasuno, when you both looked at each other when he spiked, he yelled at you, too caught up in the moment.

Another thing that was really unusual was when you looked sad when his team has lost. If his team would have won, he would be as happy as ever. He wouldn't even be thinking about the other team who has lost. But you, you cared for their team. Even though he knew some members of his team were in rivalry with a team member from your team, Karasuno. But as of right now, Kentarou was in his 2nd year of high school as well. It's during spring break and his team had join a training camp. Unaware of who's also going to be in the training camp, Kentarou look around for your school. He saw Nekoma, Fukuroudani, and many others schools. But when he saw a familiar tall blonde haired man, he tensed up slightly looking for you as well. Of course beside the tall boy, was that annoying ginger midget. His thinking and thoughts finally connected together. Both boys were on your team. He looked for you as Yahaba put his hand on his shoulder.

"You okay?" He asked slightly worried.

Kentarou tensed up by the touch and jerked away from his hand. Yahaba widen his eyes, before sighing and rubbing his temples.

"I guess that's a yes?" He answered on his own before leaving to go along with the team.

Kentarou looked over by your team once again looking for you this time.

'She has to be in volleyball still.' He thought as he saw (h/c) behind some other members on your team, (who he assumed was first years). When the first years finally moved out of your way, his team had to go unpack.

In the gym, Aoba Josai was having a practice match with Karasuno. He saw you and wow. In time he hasn't seen you, your hair grew a bit longer, and you had a angel like face. You had smooth like skin and beautiful (e/c) orbs that sparkled all the time. Not to mention, you body shape was starting to get slightly curvy as well. Not by much though. Since Kentarou was never good at theses things, he blinked a couple of times looking at you before playing volleyball.     

You distracted him from practice too, causing Yahaba to scolded him. Ever since last year when your team won against his, Yahaba was the only person who Kentarou would let him yell at him. If anyone else tried to yell at him, he would glared at them darkly.

Anyways, Yahaba made him stay behind in the gym while the rest of the team get ready for dinner. He had to clean the gym. A member from each team was picked to stay after practice to help clean. It just happens so that you were also picked to clean up the gym as well.

"Kentarou-kun!" You smiled going over to him. When you called his name, his heart pace quicken. He looked over to you as you smiled cheekily at him.

"So..! How's Aoba Josai?" You tilted your head as he started to feel weird. He avoid eye contact and shrugged.

"Still not much of a talker are you?" You nervously giggled, nudging him slightly.

His heart skipped a beat as he could feel heat creeping onto his cheeks.

"No. Just stay away from me." He bluntly said before turning away and leaving you in confusion.

"Did I say something wrong?" He heard you panicked. His heart ached, he didn't mean for it to think something was your fault.

He hated that feeling. The feeling you were giving him. It was uncomfortable and a distraction. It was defiantly a  problem. He has even gotten scolded already because of this feeling. He watched you in the distant, picking up volleyballs. You smile was gone and your eye browns furrowed together in sadness and in confusion. The unusual feeling of guilt washed over him as he looked away.
