Chapter 42 - Yaku's Ending

You haven't totally forgotten about Yaku. You just didn't know you would be standing in front of him, meeting him on your first day of the volleyball team. In collage... You stared at him as he blinked at you.

"Long time no see." He says as you suddenly tackled him into a hug. The rest of the time stared blankly at the two of you. Yaku had a blushed covering his cheeks as he avoided his glaze away from you. You pulled back from him as his teammates (and yours) nudge the libero.

"Ah! How have you been?" You asked as he blushed brightly to the side. You gotten really pretty and mature. You haven't gotten any taller but you lost some baby fat on your cheeks. And wow.. He remember how crazy he was for you.

It's been a months since you joined volleyball as a first year (for collage that it). You have been talking with the short Libero for a while and now you were growing strong feelings for him. You recalled your first meeting with him.. he bumped into you back mistake. You didn't had a clue that he was in the volleyball team. Either way you were really in love with him. He was similar to Suga.. but.. more angry? I guess?

Anyways you wanted to confess to him as of today. The feeling in your heart was overwhelming and you couldn't help but to tell him. You asked him to stay after practice, but as each second tick by, you felt yourself getting more and more nervous. It was a really exotic feeling.. one that you knew the feeling, but wasn't completely familiar about it. You stomach was jumping while your legs were trembling. Through out practice, your mind was only filled with reactions and possibilities that Yaku would do. It was pretty frightening as your cheeks suddenly became flustered.

"(l/n)." The captain yelled getting you back into reality.

"H-Hai?" You spluttered as he walked over to you putting a hand on your head.

"You don't look so well. Do you want to sit out for a bit?" He asked as you nodded. Yaku's face flash both concern and jealously. After practice Yaku stayed after like he had promised. You both were facing each other as it felt like your heart was about to explode.

"Yaku-san." You choked out as he looked at you questionly.

"Hm?" He smiled sweetly only making the blush worsen.

"I-I have l-like you f-for a while now.. w-will you accepted my feelings?" You spluttered as his expression changed slightly. He really.. really.. wanted to say yes. But.. he couldn't...

"I'm sorry, but I don't feel like its the right choice to accept your feelings." He said as your heart broke. You pulled up from the bow with tears threating to flow out, but you bit onto your lips to prevent the tears.

"I-I understand! C-Can we be still friends?" You asked doing a weak close eye smile. He nodded as he said his goodbye, claiming that he had to much homework. You nodded yourself knowing you had tons of homework to do as well. Once you were sure he was gone you fell onto you're knees crying out.

"I.. finally confess... and I finally gotten rejected." You smiled pity at yourself. You whipped your tears away as you tried to get up. You're legs tremble but there was a feeling in your heart that.. made you sad and depress. It was a new feeling.. after all.. he was your first crush.

The next day was awkward between you and Yaku. You were more quiet and focus as the rest of the team found it really usual. It was that you felt really different now. You didn't feel like talking, smiling, laughing. None of those. Yaku noticed this change and felt awful.
