"I want you to meet someone "
Gabriel looks at you with a slight pout. "Babe, you know I don't do well with meeting new people."
You raised an eyebrow at him. "Even if he's someone important to me?"
"Well, I guess I could-" He froze and then his gaze narrowed on you. "He?"
"Yes, he." You said, giving a slight smirk. "That's not an issue is it?"
Gabriel frowned. "Only if he makes it an issue."
You rolled yours eyes. "Please, he's completely harmless, unlike you, my jealous archangel."
"I'm not jealous."
"Uh huh."
"I'm not!"
Folding your arms, you stared at him. "Gabriel, do you want to meet him or not? If you aren't comfortable, then that's fine, I know how you feel about involved too much in my personal life."
"Only to protect you," He grumbled, but he could clearly see that this meant a lot to you. "It's fine, I'll come meet...whoever he is and I'll be on my best behaviour."
You smile and kiss his cheek. "Thanks Gabe, I promise you'll love him."
Gabriel blinks at you. "Oh, I seriously doubt that." You just smile and leave the room, leaving Gabriel to think for a moment. "This better not be any sort of way of trying to bring someone new into the bedroom!" He shouted.
"Get your mind out of the gutter!" You shouted back.
He was worried now, however, as his mind went over and over each possible scenario of whoever the hell you were planning on introducing him too. He knew enough to know that it wouldn't be any sort of family, you'd both agreed early on that they were better off not involved, but as he tried to think of any other friends that you may have, more than once he found himself seeing a little red.
Gabriel rocked a little awkwardly on his toes as he waited for you to unlock the door of your home, pretending to take in the surroundings, which he would admit was rather nice, considering you lived on the road most of the time, but his mind kept being dragged back to who he was about to meet and what your motive was behind it.
You opened the door and stepped inside, seemingly unfazed by the angels inner turmoil as he followed you. "Mash. Mash! I'm home buddy!"
Gabriel froze, his first thought about what a ridiculous name Mash was, followed closely by extreme confusion as there was no way that you would call anything human like that.
The quick patter of feet soon answered his question and his eyebrows shoot up as a small ball of white and gold practically bounces down the hall towards you, only crying and yapping as you bend down to scoop him up.
You laughed as the Corgi struggled excitedly in your arms, caught between wanting to lick every part of your face and to escape. "Hey Mashy! How are you? Did you miss me?"
Gabriel stared at the scene, completely lost for words, watching as you were quickly forced to put Mash back down, who cries and bounds around you for a moment before collapsing onto his back for a belly rub, one you quickly give.
Mash couldn't sit still though, quickly scrambling back to his and he's about to do another excitedly lap around you when he finally catches sight of Gabriel, stopping dead.
You scratch his ears, grinning widely at Gabriel, not bothering to hide the amusement in your gaze. "Mash, this is Gabriel, he's an angel, so you have to treat him nicely, okay? Gabriel, this is Mash, my best friend and who I wanted you to meet."
