After putting bits and pieces together, you three were close to escaping the rooms and regrouping as a party again. Asano picked up the last color to complete a bridge in your area. "There! That's the last one. Might as well check these books before I leave..." The strawberry-blonde said before looking around the shelf full of books. A red one in particular fell off catching the male's attention.

"Hm?" He picked it up and flipped the pages to a page which got his attention the most, 'The Red Demon King' was the title of the chapter. "The dungeon boss! There might be some useful information about him..." He started to read the chapter.

'At the time of the calamity, the red demon king ruled all of the lands causing mayhem and spreading evil to the innocent people living under his rule. All hope was lost until a brave warrior had rise to defeat the great evil. He casted the most powerful magic to erase the evil in people's souls and gathered all brave heroes for a war of freedom. In the midst of their succession, the king was fearing that his end is coming near. Before the mighty warrior could kill him, he used every ounce of his magic to cast a spell on himself. To be reborn in the next century, in a cave that was once a dungeon. To this day he would trap young heroes with a strong aura to feed on every passing century. Beware for the portrait and the young mage in disguise.'

The next page showed the picture of how the Red Demon King looks now, Asano let out a shocked gasp to see a familiar picture. Hair as red as blood, mercury orbs and sharp fangs... "Why... I-I-It's... Karma!" He was worried at this point. "Then, (Y/n).... If I expose him now then I'll put her in danger!" he turned the next page to see how to weaken Karma.

Meanwhile Karma had heard everything through a painting of that room. 'Curses! He found out my real identity. I need some more time before (Y/n)'s aura reaches its full potential...' He clicked his tongue in annoyance, "Something wrong?" You asked making the redhead snap back to reality. "I-It's nothing! Let's check out that monochrome room again. Ladies first."

"Okay!" You opened the door to see the room's full of color now. While you looked at the room, the male snapped his fingers behind his back. 'That should hold him off for now...' He smirked before crossing the bridge with you.

"I have to hurry or else..." When he opened the door, Asano found himself in the room full of the disturbing dolls. The door where he once came from disappeared, "Wha--" He tried opening the other door but it was locked. Suddenly, the creepy dolls spoke in unison scaring the male in result. "Let's have another treasure hunt... Who? Who? Who has the key?"

"You gotta be kidding me?" But the sounds of the bell ringing said otherwise, He hurried up and checked every doll in the room, the bell sounding deeper and deeper every time. It's as if its warning Asano that time is running out. 'Come on, Come on... Where's the god-dam key?' He opened another dolls stomach and finally found the key.

'Got it!' He immediately opened the door and ran as far away from the room as possible. "I... have had enough... with THAT room!" He panted heavily, slightly relieved. "But (Y/n)'s in a worse situation as I was..." He went to a now unlocked room that led him to a staircase.

"Stairs... This'll lead me to (y/n) and the dungeon boss!" He was hesitating at first but then hr remembered the promise you two made. 'Let's see the blue moon together!' Your warm smile flashed in his mind, '(Y/n)...' He clenched his fist tightly, gulping before running up the long staircase. '(Y/n)... Please be safe.'
