B-Book Cover Making Tutorial *^*

Sometimes, I'm kinda too busy to make book covers for y'all (Ŏ艸Ŏ)
Which, in reality, means I'm just a procrastinator who wants to hide in her own little cave and just watch anime - the most likely reason why the covers are delayed.
So why not teach you guys on how to do it! It'll be a win win for all of us, and I kinda only did this chapter for my senpai 5.0 Taylor but woooooo~

(Also, even if you know how to make covers after this, still continue to request me to make y'all some. Even though I'm lazy 100% of the time, making covers really is a source of entertainment to me so keep them coming!;;;)

P I C T U R E S
The best place for me to find pictures are unsplash.com and the app, "We Heart It". Both places are filled with aesthetic (slay me) pictures and just remember it has to be the right size (it can either be 3:2 or 1360 x 2040 - which ever you pick is fine). And then boom; you'll be pathetic and aesthetic (what a title).

F O N T S
Fonts are difficult - I just wanted to say that, lol. Anyways, before we start explaining, I just wanted to say the "fonts" I'm going to be talking about can't be achieved in Picsart or Picollge, so just download Fonto to precede with this tutorial. Done? OKAY THEN. Finding the perfect font to use is difficult, especially in apps like Picsart and Picollge because -while they do have some- there just isn't much variety. So, in the app Fonto, they do have a bunch of variety but to make it even better, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD YOUR OWN. Go to dafont.com to find loads of amazing fonts which you can only download (it's for free dw) on Fonto. Before you know you'll be one jaw-dropping nugget and everyone will praise you.
(Font suggestions to download: surfing capital, cookies and milk, beyond the mountains, fish and chips, and chasing embers).

P N G S
What? You don't know what "PNGS" are? WELL THEN; WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS WHOLE TIME AS A BOOK COVER ARTIST?!? Pngs, in short, are things you can add on to your covers. For example, you find this really cute picture you want to use, but there's just something missing and you can't exactly know what that is. PUT A PNG, THEN! (Pngs are things you can put on different pictures - pictures that don't even include "that" thing. You can use pngs all the time on any type of picture; it's so helpful tbh). BUT, EXACTLY, WHERE DO YOU FIND THESE SO CALLED- "PNGS"?!? Easy. Search that up on We Heart It and boiiiii; everything will make total sense.

F I L T E R S
Shoutout to my senpai #1 AlliyahTheAuthor for telling me about this app. Okay, so filters (which y'all probably know what it is rn) are things to make your pictures better, almost. Sometimes filters can work on selfies, memes, but what else? BOOK COVERSSSSS. Go to Picsart to filter things to your heart's content and rainbows will surround you. Possibly.

Woah woahhhhhhhhhh! I need to download apps? Woah woahhhh!
Idk.
But download the apps, "Picsart", "SuperImpose", "We Heart It", "Fonto", and just other stuff. (Put editing app suggestions down below on what I should use, and what other people should use ayayayayayayayaya).

A E S T H E T I C S
When making book covers, there has to be a certain design.
"But whyyyyyyy?"
Because a design (or aesthetic) can steer away from having a messy cover, and that the reader who sees it will feel an emotion. Covers, sometimes to me, is just a picture where it tells you ALL about that specific book, even without seeing the description. To me, when this reader already knows what it's gonna be about just by looking at the cover, means you're achieving the peak point of "talent". And what's so interesting about this is because everyone in the whole world has different perspectives; which means that to everyone else, they see this cover as another "meaning" from what you interpreted. That's why the world is fascinating, because everywhere there'll always be a different person with a different personality- a different perspective! You, actually, are playing a role in that. You, and to everyone who's reading this, is making this world completely unique- just because you're being yourself. Now, isn't that great?
