Shyvana's P.O.V: 

Ever since people killed my mother and father, I had no where to stay and be appreciated. I was sent to many foster homes but... they abused me. They didn't like me and they were... afraid that one day I'd become a full raging dragon.

I just wanted a home like when I was little. I wanted people to appreciate me, not think that I'm a monster to all kinds. In distances, I kept hearing things like 'she's a special dragon' but I just thought... it's because I'm half dragon... aren't I...

It wasn't my wish to be born half dragon like father. I just wanted to live a normal life with normal people and not have to be afraid that I won't have a future. I keep running around, leaving families that adopted me, thinking I wasn't so bad. I behaved most of the time but then I'd normally be blamed for unreasonable reasons. 

I wandered. In fear. I heard a voice speak to me several times. The only thing they'd say is "Don't be afraid." But I was. Who was talking to me, how did you know I was afraid, why are you looking and stalking me. I hated it. But it was the only person or thing that has ever said something to me in a long time.

"Shyvana." I heard someone call from the distance. "Y-Yes?" I turn to see someone familiar. It was an old man I lived with. He treated me with kindness but I don't know how long this is going to last...

"Shyvana, I must tell you something *cough cough* something that your parents have told me a long long time ago before they passed away *cough cough*."I nodded and helped him back to our house. It wasn't big but it was enough for us to have happy days together. "What is it?" I asked as we sat down.

"I'm probably sure you heard that you're a... uh... special type of dragon. You know Shyvana..." I nodded. "Yea I do. But I don't exactly know the definition of 'special type'. Do you guys mean like half dragon, half human special? Or something else?" I always wondered and it was my moment of truth... now. "No Shyvana. That's not it child."

~story time with old man~

"You're a special type of dragon. Normal full blooded dragons could only make flames but you... you can make things freeze, you can make lightning appear, you control all elements of the world. You're the reincarnation of the previous... ruler of the dragons. He was said to be the most fierce because he managed to conquer all kinds but... one was a rebel and... you can probably guess that he died."

"People started raging after it and making a rumor that is that there will be a reincarnation. I didn't believe it at first but the moment I saw you at my door, I couldn't believe my own eyes. I've... adopted the reincarnation of him... I was glad to take you into custody. I'd guard you with my life Shyvana." The old man wheezed and coughed. 

"Your parents never wanted to tell anyone about you because they were afraid they'd kill you as well. So they hid you in the mountains and settled down there. I just happened to be lost in the mountains and stumbled across your house. I got... of course, curious so I looked into the window and... saw you freezing the very crib you slept in. Of course, you set it on fire after it became too cold."

"I was amazed by your abilities Shyvana. I wanted to learn more about your kind... I met someone... and this someone took my soul away so I could meet you. There's a limit to how long I can live now... and... that limit was till today... I'm going to die soon Shyvana... but I'm glad I got to take care of you and help you."

~end of story time: old man is dead~

I hated to see everyone die but I learned... I had possessed elements... I ran back to my home, all the way back to the mountains where my very own parents were killed and... I remembered everything. Everything about my past. Hearing my parents discuss about whipping my memories and sealing my powers till they die.

They hid it from me to keep me safe but... It wasn't worth it. I would have to learn it anyways... I'd have to save the world.
