Shen x Akali [pt.1]

SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN UPDATING MUCH GUYS D:
SOMEHOW, I'VE BEEN STRANDED IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD OFTEN D:

I just went to downtown yesterday .-. my legs hurt a lot ._. and I was not allowed to play League for the past 2 days D: Someone save me :(((((((

Anyways, here's the new chapter that I've worked on in the past .-. there's a second chapter for this and I shall post it as well because I haven't updated for the past few days ;D

Second ship: Shen x Akali (and their child Kennen)

This ship is really cute :D I still kind of ship Zed x Akali but Shen x Akali and Kennen together are 0.001% more cute.

Zed's P.O.V: 

It's been a while since I've been paired up with Akali to go on missions together. Even though we spend the entire day together, I feel like there's this wall between us. A wall that not even I can break. I kept walking around then I heard someone approach. I quickly grabbed Akali's waist and I carried her into a bush. We sat in the bush and waited.

Spikes came from the ground and I saw a woman with blue skin and blue hair. "Where did they go?" The woman said. "Not too sure but they sure heard us." I heard a man's voice. Then a man with a hat and cards flying around him appeared. I look down at Akali, making sure she's watching. She got up a bit and whispered to my ear, "Do you think they're working for the other company? The one that wants to eliminate our kind?"

I nod slowly and red their tags. The girl was named Evelynn and the man was named Twisted Fate. I must mark down these names. "We should attack them." Akali said and then she cast an invisibility spell and ran in, only I could see where she is. Evelynn quickly turned invisible as well. While I took out my swords, I ran towards Twisted Fate and slashed him in the arm. 

I saw his blood come out. Then I felt something under my feet, I saw roots growing and holding me in place. "AKALI!" I yelled. I saw Akali turn around and nod at me. She ran towards Evelynn, who was no longer invisible, and she cut her throat. More blood started to come out but soon she turned into dust. Then so did Twisted Fate. 

They were just clones. They must have been sent here to spy on us for their company. "Akali, let's go." I said. She nods and returns her weapons into her pockets.

Akali's P.O.V: 

After the mission, I returned home, it was dark and it was 9 p.m. I walked into my apartment and I felt kind of light headed. Then I remembered, when I cut the Evelynn clone, some spikes stabbed me in the stomach. I forgot about it because it didn't hurt very much.

Then I fell... cold... with no memories of what happened after. All I heard before I blanked out was someone in a Ninja suit, calling my name. "Akali!" The man said. His eyes glowed and his voice was like an angel's. It couldn't be Zed. 

When I woke up, I was in the hospital room in the apartment base. "You're finally awake." I saw two men, one large one and the other one rather skinny. "Shen, please grab the ice pack." The buff one said. Then the skinnier one came and put an ice pack on my head. "You should be fine now Akali." Shen said. His voice sounded like the one that called my name before.

"There was a little bit of poison running in your blood, we've taken it all out now. Please rest here for the night." Shen said. "Let's go Garen." Then Garen and Shen both left the room. Shen... Shen... Shen... His name seems familiar...

Few hours later, in the morning, Shen entered my room. "How are you feeling Akali?" I told him that I was feeling okay. "Shen..." I whispered as he was about to leave the room. "Yes Akali?" I smiled and motioned him to sit down. "How do you know who I am?" I said and looked at him. He still had his mask on so I had no idea what face expression he might have made. "If I tell you, could you promise to never tell anyone yet?" I nod.

Then he comes closer and whispers into my ear, "I'm... in love with you. I always had been since we first met in the forest when we were younger." He said then I saw him cover his masked mouth. Then he quickly exited the door. 

He was... in love with me? 

As the day passed by, Zed never came and visited me. I sat there, in the hospital room, thinking about the past. 

Flashback -to the time Shen first met Akali-

"I'm scared... Mommy where are you?" I said... I never left my mommy's side. I'm scared... it's dark. Where am I? I heard the bushes ruffle. "Don't hurt me!" I shouted. Then I covered my face and hugged my knees.

"I won't hurt you." The stranger in blue said. He bent down and reached out for my hand. I took his hand, hesitantly. "I'm Shen. I'll help you find your mom." I smile. "Really?!" I said as I slowly crawled to him to give him a hug. "What's your name?" Shen asked me. 

"I'm Akali." He smiled at me and patted my head, he was like an elder brother to me. Even if he wasn't part of my family and even if he was the same age as me. 

"Let's go Akali!" He said as he took my hand. We started by climbing trees to see from the top. "Akali!!!" I heard someone scream my name, it wasn't Shen. "Shen! Shen! Someone's calling me." He turned around and gave me a piggy back. "Let's go check!" Shen ran towards the bushes and we saw a woman, my mommy, standing near the lake. 

"MOMMY!" I shouted then Shen put me down. I ran towards my mom and when I was about to introduce him to my mom, he disappeared. 

"Mommy! A boy helped me find you again! His name is Shen! We should go find him mommy! I think he doesn't have his parents anymore!" I pulled onto my mom's hand. "It's best not to mess with strangers Akali." I wasn't happy. Shen helped me and I wanted to return the favour. "Even if you don't help me mommy, I'll definetly repay Shen one day for helping me!" I said cheerfully. 

I looked at Shen as if we were together since I was born. "Mommy... I think I've fallen in love with Shen." My mommy's eyes widened. "Did you even listen to what you said Akali? You can't fall in love with a stranger. Especially someone that I don't know."

End of flashback

Now that I think about it. I was actually in love with Shen in the past. He was my first love. After all this time... could it be that he loved me all these years? And I forgot about him? If it was then... I hope when I asked that question... it didn't hurt him.
