When The Girls Are Away The Boys Will Play

Branch's POV

'Ok, so wedding dresses, check. Family and friends reunion? Definitely check.' I chuckled as I remembered how all of us had so much fun yesterday. 'Ok, I guess the next easy step is to choose the bridesmaids.' I said to Poppy. 'And flower girls, and ringbearers.' She added. 'Well, let's head over to Guy Diamond's pod to discuss with him then, I'll call up Suki to meet us there.' She said. I nodded my approval and both of us were out the door.

*once they reached GD pod*

'Guy Diamond!' I shouted, knocking on the door. This time it was immediate reply as he opened the door right after my last knock. 'Hello guys! Here to plan more of the wedding I presume?' He asked cheerily. 'It's like you can read our minds.' Poppy laughed, causing the rest of us to laugh too. 'By the way, I've already called Suki so no need to do that anymore.' Poppy said, stepping into the pod while noticing that Guy Diamond was walking to the phone. 'Well, I guess all of us are mind readers.' We bursted out in laughter again and sat down in the colorful bean bags.

*5 mins later*

'Hey guys!' She greeted as she pushed open the door. 'Hi!' The rest of us greeted in unison. 'So, already on the next part of our wedding?' Suki asked with a chuckle. 'Yeah. So who do you think should be the bridesmaids?' I asked. 'Hmmm.... My sister? I don't know.' Suki suggested. 'Mmmm, I was thinking of Chenille and Satin.' Guy Diamond suddenly perked up. Me and Suki looked at each other knowingly and sped out the door to find them.

Branch's POV

I looked as the two females sped out of the pod and gave a small chuckle. 'Hi five bro.' Was all I said until Guy Diamond hi fived me. 'So, what should we do now the girls are gone?' I asked. 'Hmmm.... I think I know.... ' Guy Diamond mumered before giving me a mischevious and playful grin. I immediately knew what he was going to do and got up from my bean bag. We both headed into storage room and found 2 nerf guns; the latest model, and tons apon tons of nerf styrofoam bullets. 'Why do you even have this?' I mumbled as I stared at the "treasure". 'I don't even know...' Guy Diamond mumbled back before taking one loaded gun and shooting the bullets at me. 'Oh this is so on!' I said, grinning and taking the other loaded nerf gun. Soon, a nerf war erupted in the pod. At one moment we even face painted ourselves to look like army boys. Bullets we're flying all around the place, objects we're messed up and thrown around, blankets, pillows and bean bags were used to build our "fortresses".

Poppy's POV

I was laughing and chattering away with DJ Suki, and was very happy about the fact when we went to ask Chenille and Satin to be our bridesmaids, they said yes! When I pushed open the door leading to Guy Diamond's pod, me and Suki just stood rooted to the ground, looking at the mess and the two boys. When the boys noticed us, they hid the nerf guns behind their backs. 'He started it.' Both of them said in unison, pointing at each other at the same time. I just bursted out laughing and took out a nerf rebell gun out from my hair. 'War's not over yet boys....' I said dangerously, loading up my own gun and saw that Suki also had a loaded nerf rebell gun in her hands. 'Charge!!!' We all shouted, and the war continued.

Hahaha, I love this chapter! I remember I used to play nerf guns with my sister and oh boy, they were so much fun. Anyways I'll be starting school tomorrow. 😱 But don't worry, writing schedule won't change. 😧 Peace!
