Shawn's POV

I woke up to my phone vibrating. I glanced over at the clock with read '2:47'. I grabbed my phone as looked at the caller ID, squinting my eyes at the bright light.

It was y/n.

I quickly answered the phone,"Hello?" I answered. "S-Shawn," she sobbed. My heart shattered at the tone of her voice as I quickly sat up.

"Y/n? What's wrong?" I asked. I heard sniffling before she spoke,"I need you, p-please come over," she quietly sobbed into the phone.

"I'll be there in 5,"

I quickly hung up the phone and threw covers over my body. Not bothering to change, I grabbed my shoes and keys, throwing on a sweatshirt and quickly running to my car.

The car ride was short and before I knew it, I was walking to her front door. I opened the door and quickly walked in, quietly walking up her
room.

I opened her door, only to find y/n sitting on her bed, with her face in her palms. My heart shattered into a million pieces.

"Y/n?" I called softly. She looked up. Her face was pale and her eyes were bloodshot red. I sighed as she ran over to me, running into my arms.

"You were right, you were right this entire time!" She cried. I held her tightly. "Y/n, what are you talking about?" I asked as she looked up at
me.

"About Aiden, he was just using me the entire time," she cried into my arms. I sighed as I picked her up, walking over to her bed, laying her down gently.

I laid next to her, wrapping her in my arms. "W-why did he do that S-Shawn? I thought he loved me," she said.

"That's how some boys are, they think it's okay to hurt the girls that aren't easy. They like to hurt the ones who play hard to get," I told her. She looked up at me.

"You're not like that, right?"

I shook my head as I stated deeply into her eyes. My eyes flickered from her eyes to her lips. Before you knew it, my lips were connected with her soft, pale lips. I pulled away and looked at
her.

She was blushing.

She giggled and wrapped her arms around my torso. We sat in comfortable silence for a little while until she spoke again.

"Thank you for always being here for me Shawn,"

"Anytime," I said, kissing her forehead.
