I just want to know

It was dead silent, no one was speaking, and L seemed to be hiding his screen from the task force. It was probably confidential information, so no one asked. It was so quiet you often forget the task force were even alive. Everyone was just so into their work. But suddenly the silence was broken.

"(Y/n), can I kiss you?" L said way to casually.

The whole team turned to look at him in shock. Especially you.

"Wa- I-" you stammered.

"I've been reading up on the topic. I want to know what it feels like" he said staring at his screen.

"Ok"

This was your chance! Why say no?

The team suddenly turned to look at you. As did L.

"Really?" He said in slight shock.

You nodded and smiled at him getting up and sitting next to him.

"You don't have to"

"I want to" you said.

"Just letting you know I've never done this before..." He said.

"I'm sure you'll be fine"

You smiled at him, making him smile back at you. He gently grabbed your arm and pulled you closer, snaking said arm around your waist in the process. You placed a hand in his shoulder as your lips met. His lips were cold, as was the rest of his body, so it wasn't that wired. He tasted like strawberries and cake, oh and ice-cream. For someone who had never kissed a person before he was a DAMN GOOD KISSER. You didn't really know how to describe it, soft but fiery. Sparky if you will.

It lasted longer than you thought it would. What was he trying to achieve? Pleasuring you? Making you moan? Or maybe he just liked it? You badly wanted to jump on him and kiss more carelessly but the task force were watching in confusion and awe. It was silent for a minute or two until it was broken by L.

"Well maybe we could kiss again later on"

"I'd like that" you said.

It fell silent again and the two of you went in with your work... Until it was broken by Misa.
