We left the Northern Water Tribe a few days ago, and now, we're on a ship. Some of the Norther Water Tribe members decided that they would like to go down to their sister tribe and help them rebuild. It's currently morning, and we are heading separate ways.

Master Pakku gathered everyone so we could say goodbye. He gives Katara a amulet with spirt water. That could come in handy. He gives Aang a box of scrolls, which will come in handy to all of us, besides Sokka that is. He told me and Sokka to take care, and Sokka looked sad that he didn't get a gift. But he didn't know Master Pakku like Aang and Katara do. Neither do I. So I don't mind.

We flew over the ocean for a while, then over a lot of land, we finally found the Earth Kingdom base and all of us were excited. We were going to learn earthbending from our old friend. Bumi knows about what I am. I know that the monks told us to never tell anyone, but Bumi and our old friend from the Fire Nation both knew, and they both kept it.

"There it is!" Sokka says excitedly. Appa lands, and we get greeted by the general. "Welcome, Avatar Aang! I am General Fong. And welcome all of you, great heroes! Appa, Momo, brave Sokka, the mighty Katara, and the magnificent Adeline."

"Mighty Katara? I like that." Katara is pleased with her title.

"Well, I don't like mine, to flashy, and also, why my full name." I whine to her. Fireworks begin to explode above us, the colors are amazing.

"Not bad, not bad." Sokka says.

We are then invited inside, and we meet with the General all by ourselves.

"Avatar Aang, we were all amazed at the stories of how you single-handedly wiped out an entire Fire Navy fleet a the North Pole. I can't imagine what it feel like to wield such devastating power. It's an awesome responsibility."

"I try not to think about it too much." Aang says. My brother, so humble.

"Avatar...you're ready to face the Fire Lord now." WHAT???

"What? No I'm not!" Aang says alarmed.

"Aang still needs to master all four elements." Katara speaks for all of us.

"Why? With the kind of power he possesses, power enough to destroy hundreds of battleships in a matter of minuets, he could defeat the Fire Lord now!" The General gets worked up.

"But, sir, the thing is, Aang can only do those things when he's in the Avatar state." Sokka speaks up.

"See, it's a special state where-"

"I'm well aware." The General cuts me off. "Your eyes and tattoos glow and you're able to summon unbelievable power. Without you we'd be slaughtered before we even reach their shores. But with you, leading the way as the ultimate weapon, we could cut a path right through the heart of the Fire Nation."

"Right...but I don't know how to get in or out of the Avatar sate, much less what to do once I'm there." Aang confesses.

"So it's decided then. I'll help you you figure out how to get into the Avatar state, and then you'll face your destiny."

"NO!" I yell. "Nothing's decided. We already have a plan. Aang's pursing his destiny his way."

"Well, while you take your time learning the elements, the war goes on. May I show you something?" The General leads Aang away from us, and shows him something out the window. I look out as well, and see that it's the injured soldiers. I know that he's using guilt to get Aang to agree. And it worked.

The next morning, we are in a tie, calming area. An elder man opens the top of a tea pot and dropped some leaves inside.

"This rare chi-enchanting tea is a natural stimulant. In an ordinary warrior it improves strength and energy ten-fold. In you, it may induce the Avatar state." Aang drinks the tea, and the next minuet, she off the handle, on the air scooter talking really loud, and fast. He soon runs into a post that's holding up the roof.

We then go into the court yard, Sokka makes it seem like Momo's head is on his body. It didn't work.

Next a priest did a 'ceremony'. Mixing the four elements together and throwing it on Aang. It only made the rest of us muddy when he sneezed and it all blew off of him.

"We have to find a way." The General says determined.

"I don't want Aang to do this anymore." I tell Katara.

"I know. I don't think he understands that this isn't the way to do it."

"Do you think that you could talk to him? I think he'll listen to you more than me." She nods her head and leaves to talk to my brother.

The next morning, I know that my brother was going to General Fong to tell him that he doesn't want to try to trigger the Avatar State. I think that it's a good idea, all until I hear a boom coming from outside.

"What's going on?" I ask Sokka worriedly. I see earthbenders start to attack my brother. I don't know why they would do this though. It's madness.

"I'm not your enemy! I won't fight you!" Aang yells at them, avoiding all of their attacks. It's useless though, all of them were getting close. Sokka and I all end up fighting off earthbenders.

"You can't run forever!" General Fong yelled.

"You can't fight forever!" Aang yelled back. The two fight and I loose track of my brother because of my opponent.

After I beat my opponent, I see Katara running out, seeing all of the madness going on.

"The General's gone crazy. He's trying to force Aang into the Avatar State!" Sokka explained. Sokka pulls out his boomerang and hits one guard off of his bird/horse hybrid. I blast the other off with airbending.

"Good bir/horse thingy." Sokka says trying to get the creature. As soon as he's on, it runs away. She starts attacking the men that are attacking Aang, and I help her.

"Maybe you can avoid me, but she can't." General Fong turned to Katara and Started to make her sink into the ground. She is then up to her knees in the dirt.

"I can't move!" Katara yells out.

"Don't hurt her!" Aang yells to Fong. He leaps down, and Katara sinks deeper.

"Katara! NO!" Sokka yells, making the bird turn to run at Fong, but he then makes the creature sink.

"Stop this! You have to let her go." Aang pleaded to Fong.

"You could save her if you were in the Avatar State." Fong says in a sinister voice.

"I'm trying...I'm trying!" I can feel how much he's trying, I try to push some of my power towards him, trying to get him into the Avatar State.

"Aang, I'm sinking!"

"I don't see glowing." Fong makes Katara sink even further, only her head is above the ground.

"You don't need to do this!" Aang starts to get hysterical.

"Apparently I do." Fong makes Katara disappear into the ground, then Aang's tattoos start to glow.

"It worked! It worked!" Fong yelled excitedly, only, he didn't know that he would be attack by the now enraged Aang.

"Avatar Aang, can you hear me? Your friend is safe! It was just a trick to trigger the Avatar State, AND IT WORKED!" Aang is mad, and he destroys all the buildings around us. I see a blue looking dragon, and a person on it, and they take Aang. I look back to where he was, and I see his body. Only then, I realize that it had to be a spirit.

Aang comes back to his body, and looks at all the destruction around him, and looks down.

"I'm sorry. I hope you never have to see me like that again." Aang said to Katara and I.

"Hah! Are you joking? That was almost perfect! We just have to find a way to control you when you're like that."

"You're out of you mind." I say, glaring at the clearly insane man.

"I guess we'll figure that out on the way to the Fire Nation." Fong continues, ignoring me.

Sokka comes up from behind him, and knocks him out. "Anybody got a problem with that?" All the soldiers shake their heads no.

"Do you still want an escort to Omashu?" A soldier asks.

"I think we're all set." Katara answers for all of us. Then we leave as soon as we're packed.
