I woke up in the middle of the middle of the night because of Aang. Momo went was sleeping on Aang, but when he woke up from a nightmare, he jumped onto the rest of us.
"Aang, are you okay?" Katara asked him. Aang dismissed it, and told them to go to sleep. I walked over to him, because I know that he's still awake, even though the other's are asleep.
"I know that you had a nightmare." I told him, siting down.
"It's nothing. You should go to sleep. We'll have a long day tomorrow."
That morning, when we all were awake, we started to pack up the camp.
"Look at those clear skies, buddy!" Aang definitely recovered from his nightmare last night. "Should be some smooth flying."
"Well, we better smooth fly ourselves to a market, cause we're out of food." Katara shook a
"Guy, wait!" Sokka looked alarmed. "This was in my dream, we shouldn't go to the market."
"What happened in your dream?" Katara looked over at her brother.
"FOOD EATS PEOPLE!" We all looked over at him annoyed. "Also, Momo could talk. You said some very unkind things."
We left Appa on the beach, and we all traveled to the marketplace to get food.
"I don't know if I like that swishing sound." Katara said, shaking the melon.
"Swishing means it's ripe! It's the ripe juices swishing around, eh?" The small shops keeper grumbled to her.
"I think it's true, Katara, swishing means it's ripe." Aang supported the shopkeeper.
"No it doesn't." I muttered to him.
"I just realized that we're out of money anyway." Katara told the shop keeper. She hobbled over to Sokka and grabbed the basket full of fruit that he picked out.
We walked away from the grumpy shopkeeper and ended up by the docks.
"No food, and no monkey, now what are we supposed to do?" Sokka asked.
"You're the oldest, so, you would be the one to get a job." I told him.
An elder man and women started arguing. They were arguing about the weather, the woman said something about rain coming. I've learned that it's good to trust elder people if they say something about the weather.
"Maybe we should find some shelter?" Aang asked.
"Are you kidding? Shelter from what?" Sokka didn't believe anything about storm.
The elder couple continued to argue and the woman decided not to go with, and Sokka said that he would go with the elder man.
"Sokka, maybe this isn't such a good idea. Look at the sky."
"I said I was gonna do this job. I can't back out just because of some bad weather." Sokka replied to my brother. I guess that he doesn't care about his safety.
"The boy with the tattoos has some sense. You should listen to him!"
"Boy with tattoos?" The old man actually listened to the woman and turned to my brother with wide eyes. "Airbender tattoo...well I'll be a hog monkey's uncle! You're the Avatar, ain't ya?" The way he said it, I have the feeling that he doesn't really like us.
"That's right." Katara smiled at him.
"Well don't be so smiley about it. The Avatar disappeared for a hundred years, you turned your back on the world." The old man jabbed Aang in the chest."
