"Oh come on!" I angrily exclaimed.

"Told you I've improved."

I just gave Riccardo a look. We were playing FIFA and he had beat me twice, something that had never happened. On his good days he only wins one of the matches but today he had won two and I wasn't happy about that.

In the background I could hear Natalia crying, Nikki had been trying to get her to sleep but she had been unsuccessful for the past hour and I was starting to get a headache. My dad was here with us, checking his phone, from time to time he looked at our game and commented but that was it, my mum wasn't at the house. Enrique was still sleeping and Antoine wasn't in the mood to play, he was downstairs, watching TV.

"You are just lucky that I'm a bit rusty," I told my brother. "I haven't played in months."

"No excuses, Margie!"

"Did you hear where Maurizio and Joanna will go for their honeymoon?" Nicola said as she walked into the living room with Natalia on her arms, she had calmed down but was still awake, her face was red from all the crying and she still looked upset.

"No, where?" Dad asked.

"Alaska, how weird is that?" Nikki exclaimed. "They could have gone anywhere, why Alaska?"

"Well, Mau has always been a bit weird and Joanna doesn't seem like the type of people that likes the normal stuff. Alaska makes sense."

"I guess," Nikki mumbled.

"Where would you go?" Dad asked her.

"The Caribbean, probably," she replied. "Maybe on a cruise."

"Where did you and mum go, dad?" Ricky asked as he paused the game.

"When we went, we already had Nikki and barely could get married because of the money," he said to us. "My parents paid the hotel and your mum's parents paid the tickets. We paid the food. So, we went to Greece. Something close but pretty. We wanted to go to Australia but at the moment that wasn't possible."

"Well, Greece is not bad. I would go there," I admitted. "I would try to go a city I haven't visited before, so it can be special."

"I would go to Africa on a safari," Ricky said.

"What?" we all asked him.

"What?" he asked confused. "It would be fun."

"You haven't grown up enough Rick," Nikki exclaimed with a chuckle.

"Whatever," Riccardo mumbled and then resumed the game, catching me by surprise.

Nikki and dad kept talking about family stuff and then about baby stuff, Enrique finally woke up, muttering a morning before going downstairs to get some coffee. Seconds later we heard him talking to Antoine.

"Ha!" I exclaimed. "I won!"

"I have won two matches though!"

"The day it's just starting, Ricky."

Then we heard the door being opened followed by my mum's voice, greeting Antoine and Enrique, so we ignored that. We heard her going upstairs but we were too absorbed in what we were doing nobody paid attention to her.

"Just like old times," she muttered as she looked at my brother and me.

"Feels good, huh?" my father said as he stood up and went to greet mum.

"Margie?"

"Si?" I said to my mum without even tearing my eyes from the screen, I had just scored a goal and I really needed to win this match so I could tie Riccardo.
