"Just so you know, I'm still loyal to Rainbow, ok?" He grumpily replied. And I see a tint of pink on his cheeks.
"Hmph, same as me. I'm loyal to Lightning." I crossed my arms. Somehow, my cheeks feel warm...wait, what?
"That guy? Isn't he, like, your brother's best friend?" He tried to hide his laughter. Moment's over, I punched his shoulder.
"So what? He's kind, a gentleman, he's very sweet and NOT LIKE YOU who is soooo flirtatious, and not taking some things seriously." I rolled my eyes.
"So what am I doing right now?"
I looked at him, ugh, obviously trying to convey that he's trying to look out for me by covering us up in his most expensive trench coat. LIKE a gentleman. Note the defeat and sarcasm there.
"Ugh, Ok! You're right, and I'm wrong. You're being a gentleman to me ok? So stop being such a cocky pussy and get me home already!" I gritted my teeth.
(A/N: Gosh I miss the word gritted. I've only used that in my first SoarinDash fanfic. Lol.)
"Geez, stop being a bitch for once, can't you see I'm officially offering you a shade? I'm trying to look out for you, because...I care for you." He replied. His tone is serious than he is at work. My expression changed.
"Why do you care about me so much?! You love Dash right?! So you should care for her rather than me, because like you said, I'M A BITCH! Everybody says that because it's the fucking truth! The truth hurts Breeze! I always rely on my brother all the time, he understands me more than anyone else! I'm a coward! A weakling! So just let me be!" I snapped at him. I felt tears flowing down my cheeks.
But I felt his arms hugging me. Wait, hugging me?
"Let go. You'll also get sick."
"No. I'm not leaving this spot until you realize that you're not weak." His voice is firm. The rain pouring down and the splashing of the water are the only sounds I hear.
