The Hydra, also known as Lernaean Hydra, is a terrifying nine-headed snake/serpent-like creature. Legend stats that if you cut off one of the hydra's heads, two more grow back. No weapon could harm the hydra. The hydra's breath was of a venom that could kill any human or creature in it's path. The hydra is the offspring of Echidna and Typhon. It is said to have lived in the swamps near the city of Lerna in Argolid. In Hercule's myth, he is known to have killed the Hydra for one of his Labors.
