IMPORTANT - AUTHOR'S NOTES ARE NOT JUST TO HAVE THE WRITER TO ADD EXTRA WRITING, THEY ARE THERE SO YOU THE READERS ARE INFORMED. I ADMIT TO SKIPPING OVER THEM MYSELF, BUT ONLY WHEN I'M READING SOMETHING THAT WAS A CHAPTER PUBLISHED LIKE A YEAR AGO AS AN EXAMPLE. IF YOU READ THESE STORIES AND SKIP OVER THE LATEST AUTHOR'S NOTE, CHANCES ARE THE QUESTION YOU WILL COMMENT WAS ANSWERED IN THE AUTHOR'S NOTE. I REALIZE THAT THEY GET ANNOYING BUT OFTEN THEY ARE IMPORTANT OTHERWISE THE WRITER WOULDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE IT. THANK YOU, NOW ON WITH IT.

A/N Here's a chapter in honor of the 2 year anniversary of this being published! It will have been 2 years on the 31st of July! Also a happy early birthday to Neville Longbottom, Harry Potter and JK Rowling. Also Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is released on the 31st! This is a big day! Anyway-

So I'll be doing something a bit different for this episode. It's going to be in third person, but unlike other parts of this story where I have just paraphrased the stories that the characters were telling into one piece of dialogue, I'll be writing it like a different story. So the past of the Stans will be in italics while the present is in regular font, as well as Stan's voiceover for the past. In the past it'll be Stanley and Stanford, but in the present it'll be Stan and Ford automatically. Oh, and it's been awhile since I've seen this episode so please correct me if I get any of the actions wrong. Also, possible trigger warning for when Ford sees Meagan. So now that that's cleared up, on with the story.

3rd Person

196-something, Glass Shard Beach, New Jersey (everything is legal in New Jersey a/n please someone get this)

Young Stanley and Stanford Pines ran happily across the sand, both searching for adventure. Stanley, being the more athletic of the two twins, was able to out-run his brother. Stanford huffed, but laughed anyhow, as his brother sped up. "Hehehehe! Wait up!" Stanford called out.

"Heh! Yeah, you should keep up," Stanley shot back with a smile as he slowed down for his brother.

"I-I can keep up!" Stanford said. The two twins stopped on a hill where they saw a cave that was boarded up. They, however, ignored the vandalized "no trespassing" signs. Stanford went up to it and peaked through the boards to see if he could see anything in it. "Whoa!"

Stanley came up beside his brother and looked through the cracks in the boards as well. "Neato!" he agreed with his twin.

Stanford stepped away from the cave in wonder. "Mysterious, boarded up cave! It might be filled with lost prehistoric life forms! Or mesoamerican gold!" he exclaimed to Stanley, his imagination taking over as he took a flashlight out of his jacket.

Stanley held his hand out, motioning Stanford to go first. "Uh, ladies first," he joked.

Stanford and Stanley laughed as the two playfully punched each other in the arm. Stanford went up to the cave and tried prying one of the bottom boards open, but he ended up failing and falling backwards, causing Stanley to laugh.

"Ha ha! Good thing you've got your smarts, Poindexter. I've got the other thing. What is it called?" Stanley thought for a moment. "Oh, right, punching!" he remembered before punching the boards, causing them to break open, but putting a lot of splinters in Stanley's hand. "Cool. Splinters!" he said in awe.

Stanford came up behind his brother and shined his flashlight across the walls. "Whoa, it's so creepy in here!" he said.

Stanley entered the cave, fearless. "Hey, don't worry, bro. Wherever we go, we go together. Don't forget to leave our names so they know who owns the place," he told his twin as he stepped into the cave.
