Love Sick (Baekyeon Fanfic)

Opposites attract

Taeyeon went back to the music room in a hurry after school since a student told her that someone broke the piano.
She saw the piano and it was in shape.
None of the keys are off tune.
"They tricked me." She thought.
The door closed and three girls were in the room with her.

They looked like the new version of Mean girls but in their eyes they seek for revenge.
"You stole Baekhyun."
"Then Luhan."
"And now Dean."
They said.

Taeyeon backed up and stood up firmly.
She's not afraid of them. D.O in her opinion is much more scarier.
"Let's see who will save you first."
The girl in the middle said.
One girl took out a tomato and observed it.
"This color will look great on you."
She then threw it at Taeyeon's face.
The other girls laughed.

Taeyeon did not cry, she's done with crying, she's had enough with crying.
The other girls kept throwing more tomatoes at her and even said mean words. Taeyeon's uniform is now stained and it smelled.
The girl in the middle with a really short skirt stepped closer to Taeyeon.
"You should be calling for help before we torture you even more."
Taeyeon showed no reaction.

"In every book that I have read. The princess always need the prince to save her. Why don't we start a new chapter where this time the princess saves herself." Taeyeon proclaimed and pushed the girl and ran past them to open the door.
"It's locked you know." The girl said while she blew another bubble gum.

Taeyeon kicked it open which gave the three girls a shock.
"H-Hey! We're not done with you yet!"
Taeyeon ran away and accidentally bumped into Baekhyun in the hallway.
She fell on top of him and they stayed in that position for a solid minute.
Taeyeon's cheeks turned red once she saw him.
She stood up awkwardly and helped him up as well.

"I'm sorry." Those words were the first thing she said to him after their fight and avoidance.
Baekhyun fixed her hair and puts a strand of it behind her ear.
They shared eye contact.
"You look like a tomato."
Baekhyun said and walked away.
Taeyeon stood at her spot and closed her eyes.
"He doesn't even care anymore."

The next day Taeyeon dressed up in a simple white shirt and blue shorts.
Baekhyun was in the living room watching a basketball game.
Mr. Byun was in his office talking to Ms. Kim about the wedding tomorrow.
Taeyeon waits for Dean to pick her up patiently.

"Where are you going?" Baekhyun had to ask. Especially when Taeyeon is wearing clothes that she doesn't usually wear. Of course he's being protective, but he tried not to show it.
"To Dean's hometown."
Taeyeon answered him while she's texting Dean.
Baekhyun scoffed, "You said that you prefer to spend your weekends with books and tea."
Taeyeon nodded and said back,
"I do, but schedules change you know."

"You like him?" Baekhyun asked out of nowhere.
Taeyeon stared at him and gulped.
She heard a car beep outside.
Taeyeon knew it was Dean.
"I'll be back by 8."
She opened the front door and looked back at Baekhyun.
He just rolled his eyes and continued to watch the basketball game on tv.

"Sorry I'm late." Dean said once Taeyeon sat down in the passenger seat.
"It's ok."
There was an awkward silence.
Dean was so focused on his driving that Taeyeon can't stop staring at him.
"Is there anything wrong with my face?" He said with a chuckle.

"No, it's just..."
Taeyeon remembered when Baekhyun offered her a ride when they first met.
Baekhyun seemed distracted by something when he was driving.
Unlike Dean, he is so different from Baekhyun.
"I guess opposites attract." Taeyeon thought.

"We're here."
Dean said and Taeyeon got off the car. She observed her surrounding with a smile.
There was a beach and people were skateboarding.
Everyone seemed so happy.
Dean got out a penny board from his trunk.

"Do you know how to ride this?"
Taeyeon shook her head.
"I can teach you. Just step on it with one foot and then the other. Try to balance and you'll be able use the other foot to make it move."
Dean showed off his skills and Taeyeon just stood there with her mouth open.
She tried it and almost fell but Dean was there to catch her fall.
"That was pretty fun!"
Taeyeon said as she tried it again but this time she didn't fall.
Dean watched her with a smile on his face.
They both spent most of their time by playing games, and simply just having deep conversations.

They both sat down on a bench afterwards with ice cream in their hands.
"So this is where you live?"
Taeyeon asked him and he nodded.
"I like it." Taeyeon has never been to such a place, everyone is so active.
Dean put his headphones on and listened to his favorite song.
Taeyeon was curious and took his headphones off so she can listen to it, without even asking.
Her head starts to nod with the beat.

Dean watched her enjoying the music like a little child.
"Do I like her?" He asked himself.
She gave the headphones back to Dean.
Taeyeon looked behind her and saw the beach.
The sun is setting which makes the scenery even more beautiful.
Taeyeon ran to the beach and Dean followed.
She stretched her arms out and felt the sand and seawater on her feet.

Dean watched the sunset and closed his eyes.
"I don't want this day to end." Taeyeon said and suddenly remembered that tomorrow is the wedding.
"It was well spent. I had fun, did you?"
Dean asked her while he was still staring at the sunset.
"Yes. It's been a while since I smiled like this. Thank you." 
Taeyeon said and looked at him.
Dean grabbed her hand and holds it tight.

She was shocked from his sudden action.
"I think I like you."
Dean said and turned his head to look at her. His face went even closer to hers.
Taeyeon panicked.
"I-"

I wonder if Taeyeon likes Dean or not. They do have the same interests but then again....opposites attract.
I promise that the next chapter will have Baekyeon moments. Maybe even their first kiss on the lips 😏❤️
